Hey, can anyone help me? The right side of my screen is cracked so when I go to use IdStorage Manager, I can't see what key I'm on. I have a IC1003 motherboard. Can someone with the same motherboard tell me how many times you go over? Or is it (possibly) the key that at the bottem says "key 4"?

I have followed all the steps. My keycleaner says all my keys are fine but it doesn't say 0x005 is patched. My pc still recognizes it as psp Type A and I can't use RemoteJoy. =(

my fat (one out of my three) wont work anymore. ive tried to reinstall with the 3.71 m33 to fix it.

It starts up after the installation fine in the first moment.

"PSP" (the usual thing) lights up -then it freezes amd turns off after 10 seconds

Ive had accidently dumped some stuff from my other psp consoles to my ms since i wanted to make that shitty "go explore" work. now two of them r shit 4 nothing. -> i used idstorage manager + keycleaner

i always get "0041 - failed! this key is clear and shouldn´t be" on the analysis of the KC v1.4

I know how i have to follow the steps 1-6 on that Tut, but after that it remains clear (0´s everywhere)

PSP Type-B is the driver that's supposed to be installed. If it already says PSP Type-B then you shouldn't have to install anything more I dont think.

dont network update... thats just common knowledge if ur doing this kind of stuff. Try downgrading, reformatting ur memory stick and re-upgrading to a custom firmware is what i would do.

go to control panel and find device manager/ enhedshåndteringen(danish). There try to find PSP Type B. It doesn't stand there so try searching for it in google or something to find out how.

OKAY, to anyone that's still using this video.

If you look at the tbdawg thread or w/e..he mentions that there is now a program that fixes this and all the keys for you. I haven't tested nor probably will because I see no interest in any PSP games right now.

if you have a friend that has good keys and has the same type of psp (slim or original) and same firmware (just in case) then you could probably replace the keys with the good ones...other than that,i dont know how

err wats a game150 folder i only have game... and also, since the folders in the storage and keycleaner are the same names, how do u put them in? or do you mean copy the whole idstorage and keycleaner? or the folder inside of them, meaning src? :S

hey, i gotta a quiestion here.. i have this program called UPMS Installer. This is good program in case my psp bricks, lets say, edting the flash0, i bricked it. Since my bat is pandorized, i can unbrick it. So, i need to know 2 things.

1. When i erase ... install again the 3.71M33, does this mean i have to start again? putting those offsets?

2. Where are the dumped or "back up" keys or watever it is.

1. I dont know exactley what ur talking about,I dont really know anything about erasing the CFW or offsets or even using the pandora battery since I dont have one.sorry I cant help ya here.

2.the dumped keys are put in the memory stick,it should be in ur game150 folder and in the keycleaner folder and should say keys or something.Forget where it is exactly,but I know its dumped on ur memory stick.

well, um... that overwrites all of the flash0 and i want to know if that has to know anything to do with it. I mean, u said that the psp might brick by editing the 00x41.

I didn't have to worry because i can unbrick it when ever i want to.

For step 1, the site you have linked, it tells you how to fix key 0x041. However, when it displays a picture, on the bottom of the picture, it will read: Current offset to modify: 0x040. Aren't we editing key 41 here?

Sorry for this post but i haven't used the programs you linked yet and i just want to confirm something. If this is how it is shown on the psp then disregard this message.

In the picture,it says its editing the BYTE 0x040,although you are editing this BYTE on the 0x041 KEY.so,you are looking at the 0x041 KEY,but you are editing the 0x040 BYTE.Also,BYTE=2-digit number.So,byte 0x00(the first byte)=4C.Hope this helps..

Oh thanks, i tried it and my vista computer actually recognizes the psp type b device! I've been looking forward for a fix to this and before this video, i've been blaming on the fact that it's vista's fault. Hahaha, and now i'm actually wrong about vista.

the keycleaner should fix all the keys and it should tell you if key 41 is corrupted or has a problem with it or not.if yur still not sure,you could compare the numbers manually with idstorage manager, but it's very tedious IMO.
