It took my team so long to get this achievement because I would always hold the gnome. I swear, something bad always happened when I held it, it was a curse!

We were in the saferoom of the finale, about to start when I tossed it down. It glitched into the wall and disappeared, never to be found.

The second time, we were on the coaster when my net went out. They couldn't go back for it.

Finally, I was banned from holding it.

you lost the gnome that sucks. but what happened to me was more epic. i had the gnome there were 2 computers and the 4th player was sitting next to me. we start running through that scene were you lost our two ai's got pounced and charged my bud was behind me when i died and dropped the gnome. i push him over take his controller grab the gnome and ran into the saferoom. everyone else died but one player who had the gnome with 1 point left in his health. but we made it.

Three friends and I were playing through with the gnome.

One friend of mine was just a little bit behind us, so I tried to cover him for a few seconds while he got inside the helicopter.

The gnome I set down literally rolled out of the chopper just as he jumped inside and we saw it falling down onto the stadium floor as we flew away. It pissed us off, but it was also kinda funny at the same time. :)

The gnome can disappear at random points if you drop it in any finale on any level of this campaign. I played for an hour on my own today to have it disappear right near the helicopter at the end. I played 2 hours with a friend (difficulty kept changing automatically, couldn't survive on higher diff.) and rochelle kept bugging at end. Gnome got dropped cause I was down. He went to get it, he got smashed by tank and rochelle jumped on copter without gnome. 2 BLOODY HOURS!!
