Hmmm. Too ... busy. I LOVE the concept, but I feel there's too much going in that drum track. If you could trim it down a bit, it would be a wonderful addition; but presently, I think it's a bit muddling.
What about just the bass line and a few hi-hat hits in sync with the downbeat?
I don't like these negative comments. I appreciate that you are experimenting & going into different genres using heavy beats & bass 2 present songs in a totally new way. You have talent & don't let the pessimist point of view bring you down. Your concept is refreshing & different from others. Some fine tuning & I'm sure it will take off. I like that you have the balls to be brash, & go through the work & time to produce & post this. Bravo! Experiment & refine, but never lose that edge!

That, too. Couldn't tell if the clip was in the volume levels on my speakers or on the initial track. And is it just me, or is he modulating and then panning the vocals intermittently? I can't tell if I like that ... I think I might, though. I'd have to listen to a cleaner mix.
i ran into problems like this when adding another beat to a track in this manner..(not enough volume on the vocals)..i fail to see why some people think it's a crappy beat added, especially when the beat in question is from yet another Tears for Fears song...uhh..."shout"? (raising eyebrows on that one). Your concept is great...just raise up the volume of 'head over heels' in the mix. Then it'll be fun stuff to dj with.
dude this is bad!! check out LeeeeeeeB's mix of this, it's well-constructed, more professional sounding, million times better than this! the beat doesnt even come in at the right time, very amateurly done sorry
I like it. Screw what anybody else says. That's the beauty of creativity, you can do what you like and if you like it great if not, you can piss right off.
i liked it.

Er'' Shout drum track is 5 times louder than Heels, and it's over modulated & clipping
if you don't know what that means keep your day job :)

Could have been much better if the audio was a clean cut. So better get the audio quality a fix. But it's still cool.

you suck. all you did was add a crappy beat.

Not bad. If you'd got rid of the piano behind the drumming it might sound better, though.

Just not feeling it. It was boring and, if anything, sounded worse than both songs.
