Dude. I spent almost a year over there with Charlie Battery 1st Battalion 12th Marines. We were in the fight in Fallujah in late 2004. I came away with a deep respect for the culture as well as a desire to see to their independent and democratic future. Its not perfect over there but we ARE helping those people become more than they ever thought they could. Semper Fi to my fallen brethren.
