In Holland we have special safe houses for both males and females. Domestic violence here is recognising that sometimes males are abused too. It's wrong to abuse anyone, male or female in a marriage. But in the Ahluwalia case I believe her. She said it wasn't her intention to murder him, but to feel the pain he gave her for years, she wanted to burn his feet only, not kill him. Has society made male anger less acceptable than it was: YES. BUT to say "a man can never be justified in his violence"-- overlooks murder for adultery= "justifiable homicide." When a man found his spouse in bed committing adultery, he could kill the lover and/or the wife and avoid "murder" by assuming "JUSTIFIABLE manslaughter" under the "Crime of Passion" pretext. Some modern jurisdictions retain such law. In CA that means a life sentence reduced to 11 years or less with good behavior.

That Kiranjit Ahluwalia case is nothing...at least she actually served YEARS in prison!!! In the case of Mary Winkler, she served the 5 months of her arrest and trial in prison, and 2 months in a hospital after which time she was released on probation.

Once again...battered wife syndrome defense...of course her own daughter seemed to cast doubt on that...but a jury bought it & convicted of voluntary manslaughter, and a judge thought that sentence was appropriate!

We live in a global village now, and if companies want cheap labor, all they need do is relocate to India, or China, or Mexico, or Guatemala or a myriad of any other countries. I was reading on a blog where an arrogant "pro-feminist male" as he called himself had arrived to give a speech or something in California. I forget who he was, men's rights groups know him...and protested.

So he blogged about how some men's rights protesters looked very presentable and seemed respectful...but then gleefully pointed out how, once they opened their mouths, they soured those around them on their point.

Think about it, Marxism basically says that one group's problems are the direct cause of another group, and true freedom and justice etc. won't come around until that one group bands together and overthrows the other one. They concluded that there was just something in the west that was natrually anti-marxist. So they worked for years to change marxist principles from an economic focus to a cultural focus. As for the band you mentioned, they kinda suck. The vocals were so terrible that I couldn't listen tot he whole thing, I just read the script. They seem like a bunch of idiots, trying to be controversial to attract an audience.
