  • Check out my friends remix of this

    watch?v=fJi6TPD-6_8

  • one of my favourite albums already after maybe a week of listin to it

  • Undeniably the greatest hip hop album ever made.

  • and people listen to shit like aguilera and black eyed peas HA

  • as close to perfection as you can get

  • A Pekka Pohjola song is sampled in the last part!

  • PARKING TICKETS?!?....What's to stop them? What's really to stop them? ....I don't know why i love this part but i do

  • @phraedusthamusicdigr me too. It's such a mundane conversation and it sounds so serious.

  • 187

  • oh this is greait...

  • WHHHAAAATTTT!!!

  • TairyHesticles has got to be one of the greatest usernames.........

  • Listened to this whilst having a shit. Changed my life man, changed my life....

  • 7:52 - 8:05 is some of the most creepy and scary and awesome things I've ever heard in music. The sound is too atmospheric and haunting.

    I love this album.

  • I listened to this album when I went a week away to Rome on a school trip. Being there, in that beautiful town where the weather is just amazingly nice and the buildings and streets just breathtaking, added another dimension to this album. It reminds me of sitting of sitting outside of the Vatican for lunch, the green color of the park on top of the people's square and just of all the fun times. Damn, I love this album

  • This is too perfect.

  • wow. no words are even necessary.

  • ive heard this song a billion times and every time i cant help but feel chills

  • idk wat it is, but this is just giving me chills, 2mins in already... god knows how many times iv listened to this song... its just cool

  • I love the end of this song, when he gives the tiny stripped down sample of "Midnight in a Perfect World" which appears later on the CD. I don't know why, but it just gives me chills.

  • The first time I heard this song was on a 7 hour flight from Ireland to New York when I was 10. I was a bit worried when it came on over the headphones because it sounded like the apocalypse to me but anyway I lived to tell this stupid tale! ... Never heard anything like this, we need more shadow in our lives.

  • 187

  • 12 people have a short stem........ no?.... too corny ? i hate youtube lingo...

  • DJ Shadow dedicated this song to the drummer William Goldsmith.

  • the times this songs made me cry

  • can definitely tell the influence he's had on Linkin Park

  • @knaguar What????????? please explain?

  • @tacosaucemafia from what shinoda was saying on his blog a while ago....he grew up listenin to dj shadow records....and in this song u cud kinda hear the influence he's had on the music making. especially hybrid theory

  • One day during the summer I was walking across town to get to my dentist for a check up. This song was playing in my iPod. At around the 3:00 minute mark when the beat drops the 2nd time, as I was approaching the intersection, I witnessed a police officer on a motorcycle crash into the left side of a pick up truck that was making a turn. The cop was knocked out cold. With DJ Shadow blasting in my ears it made the scene more surreal as others came out of their way to help the cop. Crazy day.

  • From 7:10 or so onwards, you have the intro music to Chris Morris' Blue Jam,backwards.

  • Wow this is pretty Epic...

  • DJ shadow genius

  • this is hard in paint

  • its funny how society/culture segregates us, but all of us are here to listen to the same thing. I believe we are all connected, and as I'm listening to this, and think this. i know somewhere others think the same, and that brings me happiness.

  • I swear everyone I tell about this guy thinks he'll be crud because of his name, but then they're like "OMG!"

  • @SmurfAndBuffalo why??? DJ shadow is a great DJ name to me!

  • @kowtpr187

The 'DJ' part is desceptive, I think. Like he's just some terrible house music guy wit little talent, rather than a record-breaking hip-hop landmark and largely underated genious!

  • @SmurfAndBuffalo well thats what he does.....spins!....

  • @SmurfAndBuffalo i think your comment is kind of desceptive

  • @SmurfAndBuffalo yeah i don't like that either, you're right. When somebody has DJ in front of their name, people tend to think of some shitty techno/dance artist. Shadow is in a league of his own.

  • You don't have to be sherlock fucking holmes to understand that this tracks is pure genius and gold.

    Thank you DJ Shadow!

  • This is insane....This gets better everytime I listen to it no matter how many times I listen it's still good.

  • This is incredible.

  • Undoubtedly one of the best albums of all time.

  • It reminds of Progresive rock.

  • it reminds me x-files without flute

  • he has another song that starts off with the beat that starts at 3:41

Anyone know what that song is? It is a completely different song than this.

  • @808Arsenal the song you are looking for is called "organ donor"

  • @thebodypoets you are absolutely right! thanks a LOT BRO!

  • Album is perfect

  • I am getting silent hill vibes from this O_O

  • My day:

    1. Woke up

    2.Discovered Dj Shadow

    3. Heard this song

    4. Bought "Endtroducing"

  • @Zap7000 life doesn't really begin until the day you've listen to "Entroducing" beginning to end.

  • @Zap7000 Same thing happened about to me about a year and a half ago the day after Christmas

  • @Zap7000 you should also check out Preemptive strike from like 1997 or 1998..thats where the organ doner sample came from!

  • @kowtpr187 yeah i know it! that's actually my second favorite track ;) It's epic as well.

  • @Zap7000 Same.

  • i guess some people will just never understand the greatness of this song :P

  • This and Building Steam With A Grain Of Salt are my favorites from this album.

  • happy birthday dj shadow!

  • Lol TairyHesticles

  • why does this always remind me of Deus Ex whenever I listen to it?

  • Pay your parking tickets on time, listeners.

  • SICK!!!!!!!!! Back jump music!

  • How does this get better everytime I listen to it?

  • Dear god this song caused a chaotic cardiac arrest...then the bass revived me

  • What a fucking CLASSIC!

  • I have been looking for this song for YEARS. Thanks to a little program called, SHAZAM I finally got the name of it again. Love this song.

  • Love it! Just 5 weeks to see Shadow live in Warsaw, can't wait :)

  • @rightone13

Please send to Alaska after show! :)

  • This is the first song to make me cry just by listening to it. Its not just a son its a message.

  • 3:25 - Organ Donor extended intro...

  • THIS music IS an entire MOVIE

  • this should be music in a movie trailer

  • If i ever make a movie or a video game, this will be the opening sequence music. :)

  • perfect song when on the freeway zooming through traffic haha

  • Close your eyes and you can get lost and make your own mini movie to it.

  • @challywang you're fucking weird brah. hahaha.

  • frissons tout simplement

  • WHATS THAT SAMPLE

    AT ABOUT THE 6.40 REGION???

    deebadeebadeebadoo

  • @JUMZIEPOOO Do you mean the subtle underlying melody, I think it's 'Suite Madame Blue' by Styx.

  • songs like these really make you think about the world...

  • @Conchobhar

  • wow

  • A fucking masterpiece.

  • i still don't understand how someone can "dislike" this. even if your main genre of music is fucking country or gospel or even christian opera, this is still a heaven-sent group of soundwaves.

  • @dteknikal To quote DJ Revolution, "some people get it...some people just don't...they got closed minds that ain't never gonna open"

  • @dteknikal Haha... Country gospel.

  • @dteknikal Some people really just don't give a single flying fuck, I guess...

  • @dteknikal Damn straight! My music of choice is niche-market autonomic/minimal drum & bass... And this is still amazing.

  • @SQUIZZLER24 what the fuck does that mean

  • @hxcflavor Fuck knows.

  • moi j'aime bien. sa dépend des gouts

  • deprimente

  • This is it, this is the one, this is the best song ever made.

  • DJ Shadow is the Picasso of sounds!!!

  • @MikeLtheSoulChild i'd say Amon Tobin is a bit more Picasso-esque.... DJ Shadow is just dope.

  • @dteknikal don't know him but will definitely check him out!

  • Absolutely spectacular

  • I only just discovered this gem of a track and I must say it is probably my favourite song on the album

  • i love you Dj Shadow.

  • I've always thought this song was a moment of genius. One of the few things on earth that makes me proud to be a human is knowing that people can be as creative as this.I've always wondered though - where are the drums from?

  • 8:04 is the song that will play at the very last breath of mankind, when the last person dies.

  • @TrebbleGoonie

this is taken from the song "love suite" by a british band called nirvana. it is originally from 1969 and a mindblowing tune.

  • The part from 6:15 to 7:03 is so edgy. What is that part from?

This song is love to my ears.

  • Shallow Grave???

  • nice i like that chello makes it sound complex with its violin like shadow is in front of an orchestra on his technics

  • fag

  • @EdHeadster you think everyone from SanFran is queer? Think again asshole!!!

  • So amazing. Can't even explain it.

  • isn't the last minute of this song the main melody for another song of his?

  • @0ejmusik0

The Ruler Zig Zag Zig Allah sampled the melody at 3:37 for "Tragedy"

  • @0ejmusik0 sounds like the melody of midnight in a perfect world to me

  • My brain just orgasmed so fucking hard.

  • Aaaah Shadow aka Josh Davis...such a rich contribution to the genre....so fresh and original no matter now much time passes :) His work is layered like a flower with all of its petals and every time I hear it I get something new.
