For some reason it's not extending to even half of your tv output, how do it mitigate this issue? I have a 46 inch Sony Bravia, and 15 inch laptop, could you please enlighten me?
graphic card is everything, some TV's are not compatible with the resolution that the graphic card is able to handle and the opposite is also true. Drivers could be the problem some times, but most of the time is a hardware problem.
yeah windows have that problem n also depends by the drivers. but u must have windows 7 sp1 n the latest video driver also audio driver for hdmi 1.2a/1.3a/1.4a.

Best laptop of that period IMO.
I hope dell make an ultrabook that looks almost the exact same as that notebook.

@SeanDR93 Set your hdmi input to 16:9. And resolution to 720 or 1080p. :)
