I saw that already. It looked more like a pat on the cheek as a signal that Stowers had no intention to be hostile, but the other guy misinterpreted it. If Stowers wanted to slap the guy, it would have been harder. But Stowers was feeling guilty, he didn't want to retaliate after he got slapped. Besides, he apologized to the other guy, so Stowers was not being hostile at all.
