  • one button you say? hmm... kinda like an ipod today?

    LOL

  • nothing has changed. its the same recycled technology in a different form serving the same purpose

  • why didnt he touch on porn? kids today dont know about the magazine stash.

  • @psychomajic666

bad thing about internet porn is if it's in the history and someone was on a such a time, they're caught.

Magazines don't have a history button. We kids had a good idea when parents came home.

  • @psychomajic666 Yeah, I know! Last year someone was throwing out a bunch of crap from a rental house, and I look in a backpack being thrown out,and it was full of old porn mags,I laughed since that was some kids treasure at one time! You had to use a little more imagination to hide your stash, and to only play those VHS porn tapes when nobody was home!

  • "This one holds 6 books".. That had me laughing out loud.. :-)

  • I did 1:37 like religiously.

everytime I came home from school or on a weekend, i popped in a tape and recorded.

my tapes still sound good today.

Oh, as for headphones I thought ours from the '8s and '90s (Radio Shack) analog sound better than digital.

But I'm a "gadget girl", I dig them all from then to 2011.

  • @GrumpyOldAssFart haha same with the tapes and recording back in the mid '90s as a kid up to the early 2000s. Many years later in '09 I made yet another one out of a nostalgic moment lol. Got so many of them stashed away, many of I don't remember ever recording; fun times though and might have to dig into them to see what treasures I find.

  • @PECCEP88

I decided yesterday to play my early 2000 tapes(Maxell) in my car (in a walkman, through a transmitter) and they still sound good.

I'll be playing my rap tapes (recorded to Memorex and Maxells) soon.

I saw a tape deck online that's for my car, and I just might be buying it.

I seriously have no use for a CD player in my car.

  • @GrumpyOldAssFart Awesome. For me it felt (and still do feel) a sense of "accomplishment" in some way in mixing your own tapes; which you don't feel in just downloading or burning CDs. I remember always saying 'phewww, finally I can hear how this thing turned out" lol

  • I remember back in the early 2000s I saw high school kids always sitting at a table listening to their favorite shows on a portable radio.

  • i have a 500mb casette really

  • Haters be damned!

  • Yeah, they got their Kendl's but we also had our 'Kendall' back in our time as well that held as many books. LOL!!!!!

  • Rock on you! I grew up with all that you showed and I still have some of those. tape players, walkman, and I agree with you on the last one. A scary thing I read somewhere is that they are phasing out books in schools and colleges to "save" on cost and weight, very scary.

  • But our "MP3s" had commercials at the end of the songs lol.

  • nice vid :) thx :)

  • i was born in 81 and was an 8 bit nintendo and cassette kid

  • surround sound :-))) haha nice :-)

  • loool nice one man !!!

  • 80's tech is the best I love the atari computers and commodore 64!

  • I bet 1 million dollars that record was earth wind and fire

  • @trtomkitinholloywood Yea that was EWF record.

  • "This one holds six books." lol, awesome.

  • Very good! hehehe!

  • Awesome.

  • Love it!

  • One word :lol, especially the Kendl part XD
