They way they sing is completely different, and the way it is sung is completely different. different accents and different emphasis on words. if people think this is birdy then they obviously don't know birdy, and if they do, they are so stupid i don't know how they distinguish their mothers voice from a dog

Birdy's version is more tight on the wording. You allow the words a bit more give, expecially at the ends where you hold the note slightly longer. I actually prefer the tighter holding of the notes but I do admit you very subtly make the song your own. Even a slight hint of hispano-culture to the song which is interesting? Or is that another nationality?
