what is the point of uploading a video in 1080p with a static image?

it has NOTHING to do with the sound quality and is pretty pointless if you are just using an image!

@D3vel yeah ! You are right, audio quality is "152kbps AAC" in 720p and 1080p. but When I upload this stuff, I didn't know it yet. so no rage...

@774318493 Dude. I'm a digital media designer. i make video for a living. i have a pair of sennheiser hd25's production headphones.

the video resolution has no bearing to the audio track whatsoever.

besides which, that wasn't the point. the point was that it's not the massive attack video. stop being such a youtube dick when,

a) you clearly don't know what you are talking about

and

b) you don't even read the comment that you are so quick to jump on properly.

@deneatins if you are using an automatic codec setting then maybe yes. rendering is something too complicated to explain using a youtube comment and varies with codecs. you can encode a 240p video with the same quality sound as a full 1080p video whether its a variable bit rate or a constant 320kbps or with .h264 in the case of aac version 2.

@D3vel Actually the sounds scales up with the image. Check any video 720p+ sounds better than 360p.
