@MrSmoshua Yeah, completely agree. When Saturday Comes got hammered by the critics, but I agree, it's a magical film, even if I do support Manchester United. I recently discovered that Emily Lloyd who starred alongside Sean Bean in the film has landed on hard times. It's a great film though - humble upbringings, the death of the character's brother in the mine etc. The film is a classic and it's a great love story too!

This song is really beautiful. I have seen Paul Carrack live three times, twice with Mike and the Mechanics in 1999 & 2005 and once last year solo. i would highly recommend going to see him live. He is so underrated. Living Years, Over My Shoulder and Eyes of Blue are my favourites. I never get bored of his songs and I listen to him almost every day! There is a nice, soft version of Eyes of Blue on his latest album, Different Hat, sung withe the royal philharmonic orchestra.

Paul Carrack's music is so underrated in the United States. I wish he would / could play here. Which is very sad because this man's voice is definitely distinctive. I grew up listening to him from his first few solo albums. I can honestly say that every time I got dumped by some girl growing up, his music was always there and was always comforting. Still to this day 20 something years later his music is comforting to me.

@Tuza I too have found the man behind the voice, from Ace, Squeeze, Mike and the mechanics. He is a big mate of Andy Fair weather Low.

Went to see him in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, England in February and I have tickets for a show in Sheffield City Hall on December 4th, we knew the tickets would be sold out because Paul lives in Sheffield, its a homecoming and I am looking forward to a memorable evening.

I know this sounds weird, but this beautiful song and beautiful music reminds me of my Dad. He passed away in Dec. 1999, and for some reason the music leaves me longing to see him, and hug him and tell him I love him. He had eyes of blue, and I guess that is what reminds me of him when I hear this song. I miss you Dad.
