  • Great tips. Thank you so much.

  • I had same thing happen to me on my old 84 ford LTD with V6 rwd. I knew water pump was going out and didn't had money until week later. Then on m pay day I drove it down to pick it up ..... pump goes out! lol I got owned!

  • @pantherxx010 me too lol, I knew my water pump was going in my saab 9000 but I didnt have the money yet either, this morning i started the car and the pulley snapped right off the pump!! now i have to get a water pump, the pulley and a new belt now

  • Thanks for the video . .very informative !

  • very very helpful video!!!

  • Easy does it.... One remark: wear on the Lucas alternator front bearing may also generate a similar noise from the rotor touching the stator. This at least happened to mine last year and I put a second hand one in after renewing its brushes.

  • Thanks for sharing. My waterpump died on me the other day and I took my car to Firestone. They showed me the pump and the fins are really worn down, as well as the pulley. They claim that the engine may have overheated, but the Temp. indicator on the dashboard didn't go to the hot zone when I was driving.

  • My water pump and timing belt just took a dump today on my way to class. Steam coming out from under the hood and sounds of the bearing going.

Took my 95 Legend to the Honda shop today, should be fixed with all new belts, water pump, trans service and ac service on friday. Going to costs a small fortune.

  • thanks for the clip.

  • Hey, that looks familiar!! I replaced mine last summer for that reason. Not leaking or weeping, but making a horrible noise. No longer.
