kate thats not true when dogs give birth they put up fliers or in newspapers so people can buy the pups. thats what happened to me i bought a 6 week old beagle puppy 3 months ago and most of the puppies were bought!
Pug Breeder here. You have to watch about letting the Mom do it all on her own. Sometimes they can pull too hard on the cord and cause hernia or even bite a pup trying to get the sack off. Plus, you should help stimulate the puppies. Fluid can get in their lil lungs VERY easily.
To bad it's not a pure bred Shih Tzu. people should really leave breeding up to the professionals!And visit the local shelter to see how many dogs are put to sleep every day before they breed. SAD!
That was awsome is wish i sal my dog give birth cause only 1 made it and 5 months later he was hit with a car and died later on that day any way I think it is soo wonderfull that they all made it i am a huge dog fan
I have a shitzu who is 31/2 months old and I want her to have puppies, but I have never seen them born before thanks for sharing that, it was awsome, well done.

I agree! We never let our Shih Tzu chew on the cord. Why didn't you help her? Too many puppies for a Shih Tzu - what did you do - breed her for days?
