At the minute i'm running cubase 6 on a mac with a roland synth as a midi keyboard, but I really like the look of this, but I also really like the look of the maschine. I like the flow of this better by the looks of things though plus it's cheaper, could you tell me how I would go about using my own tunes from cubase on this thing? really interested in getting a live set on instead of djing! thanks
@serpz123 If your tracks are sample based then it should be no problem to load the device with the samples you already have but it may take some work to recreate your tunes.
I think it might be better for you to see what you can create from scratch on the device, you may come up with something totally different.
@BigBaggaBlues You might be right, but I just spent a few days hard hittin' on my SP, and it is a beast. Best part, batteries, and total mobility (not everyone cares about that though). I really like the flow on the maschine, but I can't get myself to spring for it yet! I use Logic to get all of my samples created, then sump them to the SP - then I can build patterns and have fun away from the laptop.
@bambammusic97 You Don't Need Software. It's A Hardware Sampler. In This Video, The Artist Sampled From A MicroKorg And Gameboy. If Your Looking For A Software Controller, I'd Go For Something Else.
I just don't understand why roland didn't give this a digital in out and a balanced cable option. Whenever I see RCA it just screams "I am not professional!"...I want to buy one but don't want to deal with any hum issues that come with unbalanced cables. nice tune.
@wilbonucci you are actually correct. Since I wrote that statement i have been doing experiments with and without balanced cables and although there is a difference I can deal with it. I do find a bit of hum at times but when I move the cables it gets reduced enough. I bought a roland vsr880 and it has rca ins and outs. cheers mate.
Oh, man, you really great one, I wish you to become most famous musician in the world. I near to start dropping tears, after listen this. great track. Ty.

@serpz123 i have a maschine and im getting one of these soon
but theres no way that the flow of an SP will be better. maschine pretty much has the best flow of any hardware there is

Dark, and very cool. Reminds me of the heavy moments on Massive Attack's Mezzanine. Thanks for sharing.
