Additionally, many schools in non-English speaking countries institute mandatory English classes. With the Chinese language, it is a whole different story, but that is slowly changing though.

And learning English is something that is super easy for other countries to pick up.. Why? Because English is everywhere, they have to learn it to enjoy a lot of things.. especially with the internet being so huge now.

On top of that they are forced to learn it in schools, all of this makes it very easy.. so it is just seen as a standard and nothing special. And that is how i see it too.. and my experience is that i have a Swedish girlfriend.

There are other like Hakka, Fujian.. and so on. Hakka for example is similar to Cantonese but just bending the voice. I can speak Cantonese, some Mandarin, some Hakka, and some Japanese. I understand Hakka, but can't speak it LOL.
