OMG! Somebody is tooting and not on a trumpet!! (at 2:53) I can just see junior in 1930, sneaking in his friend to hear this record on the victrola but just setting the needle down on the last half inch of grooves then laughing, both cracking up when they hear that famous Bix solo! !! I know Bixes tone is legendary, but I didnt know it was SO DEEP!! LOL this record is priceless!!! :))

Sounds like the A & P Gypsies! At the intro and again at 2:24! Another Brunswick recording band, but so square! Fun spoof. I think Bix was having an inside musicians joke here! His all star jazz lineup probably couldnt stand them! Say, what is the instrument playing the solo at 2:53? Inquiring minds want to know. ;) for my cultural jazz edification..LOL OMG! this thing is a party record!! :)~ ;)

@Atticus70 My Little Honey and Me was the very first Hotsy Totsy Gang I ever found--at an antique shop in Big Sandy, TX in 1963. It had had an extra hole drilled through the disc, but was in otherwise good condition. I traded it to my record collector friend Mr. Gottlieb in 1964, but subsequently got it back.
