There was only one Patsy Cline and certainly these old recordings will continue to live on, even when the last one of Patsy's generation has finally gone. The above video of "Just a Closer Walk with Thee" in particular, has a great collection of early still photos that show Patsy as she was before being badly injured in a car accident in 1963. I remember it like it was yesterday and certainly her death was the most significant loss to me out of all the vocalists that I have ever listened to.
