You are joking then...that's isn't correct, that's testing it w/o load, driving it pulls the real amount of amps, probably around 15, as the X2LSP pulls 30 I think.
18AWG Wire?
Was it from radioshack?
Where did you get it...?
I just use the radioshack magnetic winding wires...
Oh, this was quite a while ago. So I probably don't really remember what it was then. You're quite likely right though, on that being a no-load test.
Yeah, I use the radio shack magnet wire too. Again, bad memory. I think I used either 22 or 26 awg. $4.99 for all the magnet wire you'll need for probably 50 motors... not a bad deal at all.
As far as amperage goes, the v2.2 should pull either 30 volts or 30 amps, but AtomicMods deleted the amperage reference as best I can tell.
hmm a mamba huh i did a 9200kv in a gen 1 it went fast but hey what can we all do u know i have a mamba max brushless around here somn where ill put it in

Looks good, what awg of wire you use with your 27 turn motor?
What were the specs...?
My 13t wouldn't work with the V2.2 prob, probably fry it LOL.

i think 18 but i'm not sure at all.
v2.2's are pretty damn strong.... as long as it pulls less than 10 or 20 amps you should be fine! my custom motor did about 3-4 amps peak.

What, your 27T motor did 4 amps?

Yeah, a load test, the number of amps goes way up.
30awg is red, 28awg is green, and 24awg is copper color wire...
I've made some motors, and even sold a few!!
You can find me on xmods forums under the SN blt456, I am putting a Mamba motor in a gen1 0.0
