  • Gorgeous car, first car I ever bought was a '79 Cutlass Supreme Brougham.

  • Whats the differencenew between athe pontiac Lemans and a cutlass supreme?

  • @Hoodrat93 The LeMans is more like the Malibu body. The Supreme was more like the Regal or Grand Prix.

  • what color is that paint exactly ?

  • Dark Clarette Metallic. It is the original color.

  • I own a 1980 also .. Man it was as beautiful as yours but wid 3 little ones they tore it up .. It still looks good but not as nice as yours.. at this moment I have just installed a 403 in it and doing the wiring etc.. Will send you a pic when am done wid the motor.. Nice looking ride there I love it...

  • @mrwarmonga Cool. Would love to see it.

  • My 1980 cutlass has the original 305 Chevy engine.

  • That is one SWEET cutlass, hearing that 350 olds motor reminded me of my first car,i a1982 delta 88 2 dr. It only ran on about 7 cylinders but it was good enough for a seventeen yr old kid. I will restore one a little later on, right now I have plans for a 1986 camaro.

  • Awesome ride!! Hope mine looks just as clean when I finish it

  • Wow, that car is beautiful. I had a 1980 also, but with a Chevy 305 and the paint was silver. Wish I still had it! Great vid, Thanks.

  • LOVING THE CUTLASS MAN...

  • is that a 350 chevy or a 350 olds engine? and what kind of work is done just the cam? no heads/headers/ what for exhaust straight pipe ? just wondering thanks! and was it hard to swap the motor out :? i have a 79 with a 260 in it and want to put a 350; any info would be great thank you

  • @stfd37cummins Its an Olds 350 with an RV cam shaft which basically means a little more torque but still smog legal. When I built the engine I had to keep it stock because the car had to take the smog test. It is now exempt because of its age. Stock exhaust manifolds with Monte Carlo SS type exhaust system with cat converter. It used to have a 260 so since yours does it is an easy swap. Just make sure you have a TH350 trans and not the Metric. Metric is usually stamped on the trans pan.

  • i got a 1980 oldsie too homie funny thing is mine had the 260 in it so we called it the gutlass cutlass now i dropped a 350 in it and its oh so sexy, jus needs a paintjob lol

  • no esta mal

  • theres nothing like the sound of a cold motor trying to wake up...awesome 5 thumbs up

  • Oh, and mine was my very first car too! I got mine for my 17th birthday from my uncle. And like an idiot, I sold it for 200 bucks. All it needed was a distributor, alternator, and a rear brake line.

  • But that was after it sat for 7 years.

  • If that was the Calais trim, it would be almost identical to my old Cutlass. The only difference is mine had the Rallye gauges and bucket seats with center console and shifter. Mine also came with the gray version of the 79 H/O rims. But it only had the little 231 V6. I still miss it.

  • Damn.. This is probably the cleanest Cutlass I've ever seen... I'd love to have one similar to this one.. Maybe someday.

  • @Sarcasticscum Thanks bro!

  • Clean!!!

  • very nice car , looks great, do you no were i can get the wheel well moldings cause i have the same 1980 cutlass, thank you very much, good luck with your car , peace

  • @RedDragonKnight Thanks man!

  • Very nice cars, bro. I hope someday to have a few Oldsmobiles in my collection as well. Too bad they don't make cars like this anymore :(

  • Thats a VERRYYY nice looking cutlass

  • i have a black 79 with a 350 in it. nice rides

  • I'm probably going to getting this same model car to drive to school in the next year.its probably been sitting for 8-9 years. do you think there would be any major problems with the car?

  • Depends on where it sat. Check the brakes and change the oil. Sitting doesn't kill a car if it was sitting inside. My 80 sat for nearly 10 years but was inside a barn. Started once every couple years. It had 10 year old gas in it too. No problems.

  • it sat under a open garage.

  • Do you want to sell any of them?

  • Yeah, the 1979 Hurst Olds without the T-tops. Check out the videos.

  • oh and I have to wire the electric cut outs

  • I have a 84 supreme 455 restoring it have about 6 grand in it now not much to go head gaskets bolt on the hooker headers install the new oil dipstick. paint hood scoop done

  • That is just absolutely beautiful. Nice car my man, nice car.
