Wrights jazzige E-Piano-Spielerein am Anfang sind genial. Wie Waters Gesang in " mit dem Synthesizer verschmilzt ist absolut genial. Dazu die röhrenden Gitarren und Hammondorgeln über dem gelungenen Rhythmus von Bass und Drums. Dann der stimmungsintensive Bass-Middlepart mit den Synthies. Und die klirrenden E-Gitarren zum Schluss. Roger Waters is a genius. this whole album was to mock Britain's political state at the time and he based it entirely off of the concept of Animal Farm. kudos to him for a job well done and one of the best albums Pink Floyd had to offer. =)

Superb lyrics that drip with anger, sarcasm and satire expressing huge disappointment lamenting the dysfunction and disparity of our society, culture and values. Intellectual rock music at it's very finest that only Pink Floyd could do. "Sheep" is my favorite track on this magnificent album. Damn, I so miss the 1970s.

This album was based on a novel, about a farm house ( obviously) , the farmer dies and the animals are left with no care taker, so the take care of them selves to survive... and you are left with how the different"animals" govern themselves and each other when given the opportunity. Sarcasm and satire of our society... ABSOLUTELY. FLOYD ROCKS! i believe the books is titled "farm animals" i will confirm it though if anyone is interested...?
