  • Ah yeah, try this!

Play BF3 or, eh, hmm, MINECRAFT or GTA SA or something else.

And play this while fighting ^.^

    HELL YEAH

  • Lets push BF3 away and reinstall MW2 just for the soundtrack <3

    hell yeah

  • im not a fan of Call of duty.. but Hans zimmer... FUCK YEAH!!

  • There is only one thing to say after witnessing the horror this showed, after the shock dies down and with it's absence, a small ball of rage builds in it's place. That ball grows and grows until it finally explodes. Then... You may hear this come out of your own mouth...KILL 'EM! KILL 'EM ALL! THOSE BASTARDS MUST DIE!

  • i shit in my pants when the music at 1:27 get starting being epic.

  • makarov disliked this video

  • Shepard: We've rebuilt it once.. we'll rebuild it again

  • RAMIREZ!!! Play pretty music :3

  • Less than 12 hour people!

  • 1:38 that part of the mission really got to me i mean you see D.C just in flames soldiers fighting and dying all around you explosions everywhere death everywhere that really pumped me up in-game and made me play much better. music in a video game really can make you get much more into the game and this soundtrack really did it for me

  • DIDSTALIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • the enemy of my enemy is my friend + this! = a living soldier in first then ends up dieing here.....

  • I used this on an anti-school report. I got an A.

  • @FighterGuDude3214 I mean, anti-war.

  • Totally awesome!!!All credits to Hans Zimmer guys!!!This guy knows from good and epic music!!! ;)

  • 1:35 gave me goosebumps

  • more chance of a nuclear war then a normal combat war then

  • Russia couldn't possibly invade the US. They would have no reason to. And we have the whole alliance of NATO to punish them if they did. And they are very, very strong.

  • @sickleandsuckle Yeah exactly, no reason at all and Russia knows that a invasion right away would be a waste of resources and lives. They would first question why

  • Unless of course they find a giant underground vodka deposit under the United States :P

  • @sickleandsuckle lol, invasion time for vodka

  • @sickleandsuckle Here's a bit of a newsflash, and I'm not trying to sound arrogant or anything, but NATO is like this.

    75% US

    25% Everyone else.

Europe has small standing armies, while conscription in places like Germany forces them to be soldiers at one point in time in their life, they're inexperienced soldiers. Except for Britain, who makes up the majority of that 25%.

  • where did you get this information from.

  • @sickleandsuckle Nothing official, and I really don't need to. Look at NATO's history and if there's anything that NATO is involved with, it's either something that the US was directly involved with and the other member countries were dragged into because of treaty, or something that Europe wanted to do, but needed US intervention to make a difference. (Libya)

The only reason most of Europe joined NATO, was because there was a scare the Soviets would invade. Europe would've fallen to them.

  • @sickleandsuckle Believe it or not, the Russian Federation can mount a much larger army then all of NATO combined can. Unless you start to draft people age 18 to 30 without prejudice.

  • I'd see no reason to do that though, unless they found a giant vodka deposit underneath the US

  • @sickleandsuckle Not too long ago it wasn't so bizarre, and I don't either, I'm just saying.

  • eh, but this isn't the place for this kind of discussion. rather we should be complimenting this beautiful soundtrack score.

  • @sickleandsuckle I FUCKING LOVE THIS SONG.

  • MY EARS HAVE ACHIEVED ENLIGHTENMENT

  • I'm sure if russia attacked us. Not only would the military be in it, but people like me who aren't afraid to fight. Washington dc would not fall.

  • @117vids

As Shepard put it: "Tomorrow, there will be no shortage of volunteers. No shortage of patriots."

  • @117vids

meh I am pretty sure military will insist in evacution.

  • @117vids : You and me both, man. Thank God we [civilians] are allowed to own weapons. Might have to form a militia if the USA is invaded and the military needs more hands.

  • @117vids thats if we are expecting an attack but remember this was a surprise attack, in the story the army is still in the middle east and even with the bravery of our guardsmen and militia they would be no match for russian vdv and spetsnaz units

  • @foxhole3 dude, im never caught by surprise.

  • @117vids haha we need more people like that in the CIA

  • @foxhole3 were im headed

  • It's so sad ;_;

  • I know somebody out of 500 plus million ppl who had bought this video game felt sad about playing this mission.

  • @James201046 Didnt you? I mean, i felt betrayed, angry, and then somber.

  • if your wondering the song on itunes is called siege

  • @applebigapple This is different from Siege. (No Violin in that version.)

  • when i close my eyes and listen to this... it sounds like... like your squad is getting pinned down by heavy infantry fire, running from cover to cover, and seeing your teammates get shot while running. and the worst happens. you run out of ammo...

  • try watching the jfk assassination with him getting shot at exactly at 1:59 its almost unbearable

  • they never tell you what happened to the President!

  • the first time i played this mission and i heard the song when i got out of the pit and looked around to all the soldiers trying with no hope, others dead, destroyed vehicles and the sky dark i was stuck there looking around and thinking that it's one of the most dramatic moments of my life......i couldn't continue playing...it was so real........rangers couldn't lead the way...........

  • Video: "no description available"

    Me: "No description needed."

  • This song tops all. And I think MW2 kicks blackopps ass. Sure black opps has a couple better features...but MW2 is a legend and so Is it's campaign. It is the altime best game on the planet.

  • This music is a perfect example of the true horrors of warfare. Imagine, hearing this playing, in your final moments as a soldier, because you see a brilliant, white explosion tens of miles away. You start to become deaf, you look down, your hands are covered in red, you look up to the sky, asking for God to save you, but there's no hope. And that's it. You no longer exist.

  • It's beautiful, and horrific.

  • When I hear this, I think of the impending doom, of nuclear warfare, and that it's a very possible event. I think, the world, and all we've ever, EVER known, will be destroyed. Dead. Deceased. 7 billion people, gone, in less than an hour. Scares me to no end.

  • The beginning of this song reminds me of walking into a room and finding everything that had ever hurt u and every moment of 9/11 I listen to the beginning of this song in silence.

  • Sounds like the music from CnC 3 Tiberium Wars

  • This music also fits in WW2, when the U.S soldiers died in Omaha...

  • @desmondli007 You have a good point, but I think this is better suited for current warfare, or near future warfare, when nuclear war is a very real possibility.

  • That and the Suspension song are the only memorable songs. Hans Zimmer did it differently on MW2 than Gregson Williams in MW1. I like the music in MW1 more because it is like this scene. Hans Zimmer mainly made background music. Harry Gregson WIlliams made the music part of the scene.

  • where do u get these soundtracks from??

  • I'm not even American but I thought this part of the game was pretty damn shocking. It's one thing to see D.C constantly being smothered by tidal waves and so on, but to actually be on the ground witnessing it through somebody's eyes is something else.

  • @RaNNd0M very curious... I was writing a book, and I made a part when the goods are invaded by a masive fleet of aliens. and every time I imagine the horrible situation: soldiers surrounded to death by giant machines... civilians being crushed by giant methalic legs, and a reptilian soldier watching their mens falling down... trying to defend the shelter of the surviving civilians and wounded soldiers.

  • and dont carewho, but if anyone says he didnts, hes lying, i think everyone that played for the first time this lvl just after going out the bunker and took a glance to the center, i know everyone just simple stop, maybe everyone thought sometime diferent but im almost certain that everyone just stop a second or two and then " o yeah rite is a game, keep playing",

  • @demonlordzero imagine if this is real life.... whoever is in it will be damned

  • This game has a great soundtrack, so glad Hans Zimmer worked on it

  • one word...........BRILLIANT

  • this is my alltime favorite song from modern warfare 2

  • i lyk the begining alot

  • this song brings me to tears when i play this level cause its our homeland we cant let this happen if there is going to be a war like russia invading the us i want han zimmer to play this song while the battle is happening lol

  • @airbornghost123

    Fascist

  • @skitsojd wah? lol

  • @skitsojd My death come to you and ur land.

  • @airbornghost123 or maby a add cut scene into the game and play it thn

  • 1:42. *stares at the White house and washington monument*...

Staring at the white house, actually made me want to continue playing even more.

I really loved Modern Warfare 2's campaign. it's so dramatic and epic. They made those backgrounds because they actually wanted us to make one in the story. Well, it worked for me...

    At that Points, it seemed like I was watching Red Dawn. Really. I love Infinity Ward. (;

  • Welcome to hell, here evil thribes in every step you take, depression, courroption, suffering are common here. War and Terrorist is a hometown sport of ours, along with Politics and Religion. Also along your journeys youll encounter the sounds of pain and agony, dont mind them love ones are always lost here, every day at every second. "Why?" you ask is this happening, all we can say is we dunno. But if you decide to stay here, dont call it hell, call it what the rest of us call it....Earth.

  • @Gottenburg aka America

  • Seriously, I could make a movie with this shit. I imagine U.S. citizens of DC being evacuated and watching out the back window, looking at their city burning. And people staring at awe at their T.V. screens just like 9-11.

  • 1:41 is the best part

  • A salute to all of the brave men and women in all of the Military branches.

    "salutes*

  • this level pissed me off... damn they will never take Lady Liberty lol

  • was i the only one when i came came out of the bunker and saw the whitehouse burning felt something inside.. that just made me think oh god......

infinity ward you have really hit the big one here good fucking job (Y)

  • @drumbassraver Thanks IW for making Russians kill Bush!!

  • When I 1st started this lvl, Im like whats goin on? Soon as I seen Dunn, I'm like ok, we're Oscar Mike, then all of a sudden I see, Washington DC, & I couldnt stop staring at the White House for like 5min, Good Job Infinity Ward.

  • 1:41 onward, imagine an image or scene, a soldier holds his dead love in his arms as the life leaves ehr eyes, he rocks, holding her, back and forth, tears rolling down his face, he lets out a howling cry of pain and agony, all he loved, and all he held dear has been taken from him. The ravages of war have never been more clear to this unfortunate soldier, and he fills his last sane moments with an unquencible desire....for vengeance

  • @BloodDX2 Books have been written on such implied images. You should write that down somewhere more permanent.

  • @BloodDX2 Wow! you should write a book!

  • @BloodDX2 Oh dear god... Hmm.. I've... That's really hard to do to me,

You got me in a beautiful imaginative scene that really was emotional,

You don't know the character, you don't know what happened to his wife,

But you know, the image in your head, the want of vengeance, the want for revenge that has built inside that mans heart, just a burning, ball, of, hate.

  • @xweert711 nice!

  • @TheRunescapeRetro Thanks.

  • @koushikv177114 No, fuck you!

  • wish theyd make some movies this year with as much heart pounding action every second as mod warefare 2. this also is a song with alot of emotion in it every time i hear it i think black hawk down saving private ryan and what if this really happened in the u.s. and it just fits so well with the chaos in the begging of the level the injured american soldiers the dying and the vehicles exploding every where just further add to it. GOOD JOB HANS ZIMMER GOOD JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • future.

  • I've got a blank check, and we're going to use every cent of it killin makaraov

  • "We've lost more than we ever dreamed gentlemen but we will recover" - General Shepard

  • "We've Lost A Lot Gentlemen But We Will Recover"

  • everytime i play this level with this music and see all the wounded soldiers, the dying soldiers, the destruction, and the burning buildings im like........oh my god....

  • @sonic4ever992 yeah....imagine if it was really happening....all the death right in front of your eyes....a games a game but seeing something like that in real life would be unbearable

  • @sonic4ever992 ya its like wat if this really happened

  • @sonic4ever992

    v_v Me too.

  • @sonic4ever992 agreed

  • @sonic4ever992 It will send chills down your spine when you saw the Washington Memorial, the Department of Commerce, Capitol Building, and White House are all fired up and destroyed when this song is playing.... If this is real life, I would be like.... Goddamn, how are we going to repel the enemy and rebuild this hellhole....

  • @sonic4ever992 thats sometimes what happens in wars i feel sorry for all the people that has had that happen to then i cant imagine what it would be like...

  • @sonic4ever992 nothing good comes out of war, real or virtual

  • @ut300ralf There is nothing good ABOUT war. There are many good OUTCOMES of war. We fight for reasons which we believe are right. We don't just fight for no reason.

  • @amitnayna01 you´re right man

  • @sonic4ever992 Dude i hear ya. First time I played it and i walkout to where the washington monument was, my mouth just dropped in horror.

  • @sonic4ever992 dont forget the dead solider un the room FTW

  • tis game gets really sad alot and dramatic like a movie, i like that

  • United states is the strongest politcal power, successfulness in military operations is mostly determined by luck and patriotism. Technology helps too, but many other countries have technology that is just as good or very close to as good as the united states.

  • Luck and patriotism may play a role in successful military operations, but there are other important factors, too. For instance, careful planning, preparation, and patience are extremely essential. A military operation is like writing a novel in that you can't finish it unless you deal with all the plot holes. No questions unanswered and no maybes.

  • @CaptCM54 i like to imagine reznov doing this speech

  • @nfsmohpsp One day, we will take the fight to THEIR LAND, THEIR PEOPLE, THEIR BLOOD!! Imagine Reznov giving this speech about the Americans and it'd be pretty sobering!

  • @CaptCM54 not to mention making split-second decisions which can save or prove fatal to your soldiers.

  • @CaptCM54 What does any of that have to do with Call of Duty

  • @Jaws2blood1 It has plenty to do with the US being the strongest military and political power, only so long as good decisions are made. In this case, the US was invaded because most everyone believes that the US was to blame for the Russian massacre. It was an opportunity to show that the US wasn't the strongest military power it was thought to be. In the last game, the US lost thousands of soldiers to the nuclear attack because they hadn't planned for it, otherwise that could've been avoided.

  • Once you set foot outside the bunker and this music starts around 1:25 and you see the Capitol Building burning, at that moment, you really see how hard the shit has hit the fan.

  • that scene was somewhat epic-sad just impressiv

  • i am a pretty hardcore patriot.. and let me just say this ost along with the scenery really can fill u with great emotion. like sayin "oh my.. this is the US. DAMN!" you know? lol

    patriotism ruins history -goethe

  • I wonder if something like this can occur I mean the U.S is the strongest super power in the world but what if another wants that position 0_0

  • @CartoonGuide well, it was, but no more lol.

  • This level was sad.

  • this is the best level of the solo game
