The big 3 have been stepping up their game recently without a doubt, but the fact that you CAN find a cobra in immaculate condition does not speak volumes for the general reliability of the cars. Mustangs are not a particularly reliable car and ford NA has been known as producing unreliable cars. If you work to Daimler I would damn well hope you put my tax money to work from that bail out. I owned a 90s contour and it was in the shop more than in the garage, im never buying domestic again

Crown Vics and american Trucks (and vans) are reliable. Ford makes good fleet vehicles, and that is it. Im sorry, there is no such thing as "Cost to Power" ratio that has any significance. A major downpoint of your cobra is it's weigth, which cripples its "Power to Weight ratio".
I beat one stock for stock in my M3, by .3 on the quarter mile and almost 3 seconds around our local track. Anything else?

yes it does weigh alot. i do consider it a muscle car. im not surprised that your M3 beat one at a track, . driver skill is 90% of the equation though. im just happy that im able to drive a 480hp convertible once a week. i dont have anything else to say because your Beamer is better engineered and costs more.

Cobras are cheap because they were cheaply manufactured. Ford needs to care more about their products.

The big 3 have been stepping up their game recently without a doubt, but the fact that you CAN find a cobra in immaculate condition does not speak volumes for the general reliability of the cars. Mustangs are not a particularly reliable car and ford NA has been known as producing unreliable cars. If you work to Daimler I would damn well hope you put my tax money to work from that bail out. I owned a 90s contour and it was in the shop more than in the garage, im never buying domestic again

Maybe you should research Daimler AG a little. We own roughly 20% of Chrysler. I work for their Commercial Truck Line. We have nothing to do with any bailout! I have an 03 Mustang GT that has never had a problem! EVER! It has never been to the shop except for p.m.. That is alot more than i can say for the 97 Chevrolet P/U i used to own! Not my fault Americans dont know how to build cars! I didnt know Daimler was seperate from Chrysler, you are correct, but as a 1/5 shareholder you still have some say in where that bailout money goes.
Americans can build fleet vehicles, so if I ever start a company requiring large amounts of vehicles, I will definitely look at one of the Big 3. But for my personal mobility and reliability, I will stick with Toyota and even my 99 M3 has proven more reliable than the Contour (and a lot more fun)

The BMW hasnt been completely bulletproof; but the Contour broke down all the time and had all sorts of recalls and shit. There is nothing wrong about comparing two cars; despite the brand. Just cause ford sucks so much doesnt mean its not fair to show why.

Crown Vics and american Trucks (and vans) are reliable. Ford makes good fleet vehicles, and that is it. Ford in Europe makes great products but we dont get a chance to see them over here, the only well-running Fords I see are fleet vehicles. The Vette's base price is over 70K jackass. Its a SPORTS car, not a Pony car like the Mustang. And as for the new Camaro, all the reviews of it say it handles like shit, the interior is far inferior to the Mustang and its a moot point as the 5.0 at 400 HP is back for the 2011 model year.
