I never said it was a gene. The change in brain chemistry occurs after conception, in utero. Their genes are already set in place, but the hormones given to them by their mothers prenatally is what influences how their brains develop and whether those brains grow more like a female brain or more like a male brain. I guess I could go around doing some serial killing via my "free will", but it's not likely to happen because my brain is not structured like a psychopath.

I never said it was a gene. The change in brain chemistry occurs after conception, in utero. Their genes are already set in place, but the hormones given to them by their mothers prenatally is what influences how their brains develop and whether those brains grow more like a female brain or more like a male brain. @raidersnonhaters The bible makes many moral assertions that most Christians ignore, (from a god who specifically ordered the execution of babies btw). Think about it, homosexuality is considered to be such a great sin that it calls for capital punishment, but so is being a rebellious child, and a girl who can't prove that she's a virgin on her wedding night or doesn't scream while being raped, and many other "sins" that aren't emphasized by Christians today. So why is being gay singled out?

"Illogical" would mean I have no logical outlook on something, but I don't see what I'm wrong about.. Also, you can't have "blind faith" in science when science can prove what it's talking about. Blind faith would mean you believe in something that has no proof, aka religion. For the record though, I'm Wiccan.

As for the creation thing, science does have the big bang theory, but of course it's just a theory which is the same thing your religion is based off. The "theory" that a "god" created the universe which by the way, has much less explanation than the big bang theory has. You have a book which for all you know could be fiction, but we.. we have Science lad!
