  • how big was it? I was in the christchurch EQ (7.1)

  • This earthquake was amazing. Too little for damage, a lot to feel. Where I live, everything was swaying a lot more, through. (it could just be your camera) I'm sixteen, I never felt an earthquake. This was an amazing experience. The bass sound of the ground before and during, the constant sway back and forth. Not just a rattle, but a sway. As if you were on a ride.

  • Lol both dogs run under the couch

  • lol...the little dog says i'm outta here

  • poor babies so scared.

  • Wow--amazing that anyone survived

  • @dcrobclark2012 hmmm.. I should do that :P

  • Wait... You tape your house?!

  • @anniebieberduh : I have security cameras in my house. Hardly not the first person.

  • dude keep that dog he's got a great sixth sense

  • OH SHIT. I was in school when this happened lol everyone ran out!

  • Guys! Dogs can sense earthquakes about what, 10 secounds before? So stop hating on the dog >o<

  • @z6achminer I agree with you.

  • Hey man,

That is the wrong title for this video.

This looks like a dog's house.

    .

He is sitting watching Judge Judy, you ain't there; you probably at work.

It is his house, mostly !

  • This isn't related to earthquakes, but may I say that your house is so neat and tidy? When compared to mine, it always looks like there was an earthquake where I live, but where I live the biggest earthquake that could ever happen here would be like 4.0 lol

  • Dogs can hear the rumble like noise before people do ... my dog started barking when the first one hit maryland earlier last year ...5:30 am and was smaller than this one ....

  • Dogs can sense before an earthquake is about to start

  • no earthqaukes down here in Alabama

  • The cats like: 0:12 Fuck this! I'm out'a here!!"

  • So smart they even went downstairs

  • damn that is a clean house.

  • The dog knew.

  • just wondering how did you know to record

  • You have good taste in decorating and cool vid! We felt it down here in NC as well.

  • but your light is not moving.

  • @OneDeepHouston23

Which light? The one hanging from the ceiling!? Look again. It's moving. Not much, but it is. Do you actually think I staged this?

  • @dcrobclark SAVE THE PUPPEH

  • your dog is so cute!!!!

  • i survived the same quake !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I thought my laptop was going crazy I felt it shaking while I was typing and it was sitting on the coffee table while engrossed in an essay for class. I stopped and looked at it like what the *bleep* and then really felt the whole house and all shaking. My hubby woke up thinking the dog was doing something to shake the couch ... I told him no the dog is sleeping beside me... then he said the cat did it. I told him he better wake up I think we had an earthquake nearby. Sure enough we did.

  • All dogs can sense something before it happens it weird but cool :)

  • Animals just know. How? Frogs left a city in China 2 days before a quake? They have some kind of sixth sense that humans lack.

  • the dog heard the earthquake coming from far away

  • @pivotkid85 He didnt hear an earthquake coming from far away , he sensed it.

  • @ngatea21 No such thing as sensing it. These animals are alerted by the subsonic air waves that precede the shock wave travelling in the earth crust I thing. It would mean that the wave speed in the air goes faster than the speed of the shock wave in the earth crust. I have a hunch it's the opposite... Someone clear this out before animals are declared paranormal pleaze :D

  • @invisiblespandex No such thing as sensing you say, Wrong I have sensed something that has saved my life. An aw yeh.. Im guessing you googled it. Niiice!!

  • Could you post a longer video, showing continuously the behaviour of the dog during the previous, say, 5 minutes or so?

  • the ears lifted, beautiful friend you have, ty. LOVE -artist-

  • paranormal activity 3?

  • That was crazy wasn't it ? I Never been in an earthquake until today. I actually saw the floor roll. Makes me have even more compasion for those that have suffered higher magnitudes...

  • @DrackonKnight - all the way from Indiana here and I saw the shelving that holds the heavy cases of water bottles roll! It was within a quick blink of the eye.

  • the dog felt the compression waves with 15 secons after...

  • Dogs are smart. I always know when a big storm is coming towards my house because they usually get really hyper and sometimes scared 5-10 minutes before a storm.

  • its good that everyone is okay and nothing worser happend :D

  • the dogs are smart, they went to the basement:)

  • holy crap

  • that wasn't too bad

  • Los animales sienten antes que sucedan.

  • It is amazing how your dog sensed something before it was obvious things started to shake....

  • @cewall2 they have a sixth sense that way.

  • Love how your dog woke up 12 seconds before the shaking started ...

  • @Mouselady1 exactly....

  • your house is beautiful :)
