"The Boll Weevils got the cotton and the women got me" - Great stuff! I didn't know there was any Sun Brimmer or Charlie Burse video. A real treat. Thanks for posting
I didn't know there was any video of Will Shade -- albeit past his prime. I wonder if there is any earlier video or any video of Gus Cannon or other members of Cannon's Jug Stompers or the Memphis Jug Band.
@123jlp I seem to have been mistaken about jim jackson, or else his role in the film is unremarkable - but gus cannon appears at two points within the film:
once with the dancing kids and the second time in a group featuring jug players (that i can't identify)

This, along with "Folding Bed" by Whistler's Jug Band, is a great contribution. Thanks very much for preserving and sharing real jug band music with all of us through YouTube.
These first generation urban bluesmen could always create so much music from such limited resources. Without the video you could think this was a fourpiece combo.

I love the way these two guys weave their vocals together! It's so different from the old verse/chorus thing. Great stuff!
