I thought it was the apostles that wrote most of the new testament, and the old testament is based on the old ancient jewish scripts anyway.. but I may be wrong! Anyway, a bible is a bible is a bible, surely.. The only bibles that have been altered are the Mormons and the Jehovas witnesses versions, which haven't got much to do with the real deal..

Let me just make one comment. First I am dieing. And I choose very carefully the words that I say these days. Maybe I misunderstand the words you say. It is my hope that is the case. Jer is not perfect, few are. But Christ died on the Cross to forgive Sin. Except Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit. Maybe you should look into that.

A very good video I agree with your comments about the F word. I don't like comments that use that word either. I think more atheists love one another than Christians appear to. In my experience most Christians preech how good they are but don't help other people who are suffering including people in their church. Perhaps many atheists are better Christians?

Jer, you put my personal beliefs regarding Christianity into the video and I thank you for it. I personally have Jewish Blood and Christian faith.

Anyway, I mention my past because the Jewish people have a saying. "The elders are closer to God.  Listen to them and maybe they will put in a good word for you."

I often feel the same about modern movie writers. They cram in swear words because they can't be bothered thinking of anything more intelligent.

The apostle Paul summed up the true Christian character. "These three remain; Faith, Hope and Love, and the greatest of these is Love." I'm often amazed at how many leading Christians lack those three basics.

I am not a religious person, however there are theistic ideals that I can agree with. This for example. It all comes back the golden rule. Maybe it should be the golden law, then perhaps more people would acknowledge it.

Im not into religion anymore,at 49..an x-catholic....Im looking at life as being too short,and just being a decent human on the planet earth as I live and breathe.....take a look at HUBBLE DEEP FIELD....to me the Universe is so vast- with Life,Teemiing more then we could Imagine..and there is No God is Up there, judging us...on this tiny little spec of a planet in this lil coner of the milky way Galaxy..

Uh-oh, better mind me language. I myself am a rather awful owner of a pottermouth. I forget swearings a bit more frowned upon in america. Must admit i never think twice before i eff and blind, its just to my age group swearing doesnt seem such a big deal with the news full of adults waging war and people starving an all that, words just dont seem to matter so much in comparison.

But words can hurt, as you say. I must remember to be more considerate.
