@Blogrich55 Then YOU of all people should appreciate my efforts to defend the Holy Trinity against heresies such as Jesus Only Pentecostalism or, as they are known, Apostolics.
They teach, if you don't know Sage, that God is not one Being but also only one Person. They say this Person, they call Jesus, is just filling 3 different roles or offices. SOMETIMES He is the Father. Then, they say, the FATHER became flesh as His own Son, Jesus. Now Jesus is the Holy Spirit. WEIRD huh?? God bless you:D

@Blogrich55 if God is 3 personages making 1 god explain deut 6:4 is 42:8 is 44:6. Keep in mind in deut 6:4 the word one,(one Lord) in original hebrew was the word -echad ,look it up it is the written word of the #1,and also means alone.Interesting the HOLY GHOST chose that word for that verse.

@whitedragonawa God bless. I was actually raised and originally ordained as a Pentecostal Trinitarian. I was challenged by a professor in an Assemblies of God Bible college to read and try to refute THE REFORMED DOCTRINE OF PREDESTINATION. Of course, I am a Calvinist now.

I never was a part of that stuff and have always opposed it. But its popular now to be a continuationist and calvinist these days but I think its contradictory.

@Blogrich55 Thats great!! Did you know about the new wave of charismatic calvinists popping up? Its pretty annoying. Even the emergent church is trying to twist calvinism to fit their agenda. I always tried so hard to persuade with Scripture all of the people seduced by the sensual gospel the charismatics and pentecostals spread. It sucks man. Its not Christianity its false. I hope more pentecostals will get out of it. I think some Christians exists in pentecostalism and charismatic churches...

@whitedragonawa Sadly, the folks will try to invade ANY church. They are truly parasites at times. The local PCUSA was over run and taken over by them. Then, when they bled them dry financially, most of the holy rollers left and went to Assemblies or 4-Square churches in the area. The current pastor of the PCUSA went to Oral Roberts University. Oh well, one of the requirements they have to become a pastor is attendance in Fuller Theological. That speaks loads. God bless.

Well that doesnt matter since Oral Roberts was a heretic and his university preaches heresy anyway. So whatever heretics going after other heretics...at least stay out of our true churches haha. @TheGenuineChristian Yes, I was doing a terrible impersonation of an old comedy songwriter and singer Allan Sherman (he wrote and recorded Hello Muddah Hello Faddah.) I'm planning in the future to do a series on satirical animated theological cartoons. However, where I posess creativity in drawing caricatures and bringing them to life, I lack in script writing. You shouldn't make fun of those who utilize this verse to bolster their Faith in Christ & His Gospel. If you understand better than they do, then you should pray and find ways to help them to gain a more perfect understanding. Your method of humiliation is counter-productive in the Body of Christ. Your behavior & mockery is a poor witness. The unsaved are watching the Body of Christ attack itself from within. Your fruit is suspect. Your status as a true believer deserves to be questioned.

I have not observed anyone screaming that anyone is going to hell on either side of the trinity vs. oneness argument. Suspect fruit does not require a declaration. Per scripture, a tree is known by its fruit. The LORD is not pleased with discord among brethren. Now, if it matters to you guys - lay aside all this foolishness and disputation, and win some souls, if you are so inclined.

I'm not oneness, but if I was- I'd rather hear something clever like this than something mean and angry. Of course sometimes how one receives something makes a big difference.
