  • The beginning is some sick Stoner Metal tone.

  • rockin! \\m//

  • Motorhead sold it for me. Cool pedal.

  • I would love to see a video demo of this pedal played through an amp like a Classic 30, or a Blues Jr. by a beginner to intermediate guitar player, wielding a squire or Epiphone guitar. It would be a more realistic approach to see how much better it would improve one's tone. You can plug a dead rat in between a hot rodded Les Paul and a boutique amp, hand it to a seasoned player like this guy, and probably still get a great tone.

  • @bubbaleon

What kind of beginner would spend $400 on a pedal? This kind of gear is meant for advanced players.

  • @doooomination

Saying that is like saying you can't give a teenager a Porsche cuz he's not a race car driver.

I live in Marin County CA., where you see beginners playing top of the line guitars, amps, pedals etc.

Since when was the price tag on something was designed for playing levels? This pedal is another attempt at the Vox/Sola Tone Bender. You're paying for the graphics and the hand wiring.

  • Fuzz + single coils... life's pornographic soundtrack

  • fuckin great!

  • Hey Burgs, do you give lessons?

  • sweet! is that a guitar modded by Larry Corsa?

  • @EnragedSlash Yep. :)

  • This pedal is insane.

  • that zeppelin at 4:35 ROCKS !

  • Skinpimp is right up there with D*A*M as far as ToneBender builds. Not just beautiful, but great sound.

  • Hey Burgs, love the demos - nice to see a fellow Aussie ;) Where do you get your tshirts?

  • The Ace of Spades!

  • It sounds awesome!

  • Amazing!

  • Oke this pedal costs more then my guitarXD no wayXD

  • $400 for a fuzz pedal? Holy...

  • first fuzz i actually like ... but seriously ... way too many fuzzes on the market. get creative, pedal builders.

  • Can we get an Andy vs Burgs straight up battle demonstrating the same pedal(s)? Bc lets face it, that would be epic.

  • The Zep licks at 4:38... that is killer tone. Definitely worth $400.

  • Probably worth it. Hand-wired - it'll still be going 40 yrs from now, and easy to fix if it does break. Try that with a Boss DS-whatever with the cheap IC board and etc. You'll never regret buying pro-class tools. Not as your first purchase of course - Great Axe - Great Amp - then stomp boxes.

  • 1.51

    Rocks and Rofl ))))))))))))

  • Great job Burgs! Awesome fuzz and solid chops.

  • I've ever seen that guy on the web site of 'AMT ELECTRONICS' before!

  • Love the little box with burgs headbanging

  • My opinion? Burgs > Andy. Not that i don't like Andy at all, but my ears prefer to burgs playing.

  • @wtfwasthatt As about the pedal, i really found it AWESOME. I usualy don't like fuzz pedals, because i always found their distortion noisy and without definition. But for the MKIII is a totally diferent fuzz! It really have a nice gain, able to play some hard rock, heavy metal. Maybe not so good for metal core or more heavy stuff... But still an awesome pedal! Always watching pgs videos!

  • BURGS ROCKS

  • It's a bargain. It should have cost $1200.

  • Holy cow! That pedal costs as much as my strat!

And more than my entire pedal collection combined!

    Dm

  • Kind of a mix between a modern overdrive and a bit of distortion (like BOSS) and a small mix of a fuzz face. Fuzz seems a bit subtle in this pedal even with the fuzz level all the way up. It is not like those others where fuzz is all staticy and the tone is unclear when pushed to far. A pretty decent fuzz pedal over all, but maybe the money is in the quality, since the price is so high.

  • Guitar playing is becoming indistinguishable from consumerism. : (

  • Ace Of Spades!!! Burgs, you rock!

  • BURGS! if Jason Statham played guitar....

  • Simply awesome Burgs - awesome like a brand new Mercedes would be if I could afford one. ;-). Anyone who can't really should check out Basic Audio pedals. John's stuff is phenomenal and affordable. Don't forget to support PGS too though. They rock and are really nice guys.

  • Why did you put you neck Les paul pickup in the way you did? I notice that it is backwards from the normal way.

  • Burgs.. I love your threadless tees! :) Oh, and nice playing too.

  • THA ACE OF SPADES!

  • 400dlls too little to have people trashing when you play ace of spades and sounding as close to the record as it can get!!!! I don't know how but i'm buying it!!!!!

  • Sounds killer!

  • 400 dollars? jessus.....

  • inexpensive alternative?

  • @Bolation Fulltone Ultimate Octave? I love mine :)

  • That's alot of money for a simple MKIII fuzz circuit! :O

  • @Nimrod9458 You're paying for the $350 paint job :P

  • Burgs back! That's great, my friend!

  • Really liked this pedal, especially for the Whole lotta Love riff.

  • Thing sounds killer, and but 400 for a pedal = PASS

  • $395?! Are you serious? -__-

  • 4:37 ...top-notch, Burgs. Great sounding Bender.

Really dug the added video effects also.

    Cheers

  • Lucky I don't have a lot of money or my economy would be in a negative way 'cause all the products that PGS make me wanted to buy!

  • Lemmy is honored!!! Ace of Spades!!!

  • Ace of Spades!!!!!!!!!!

  • Nice Picture-in-Picture Motorhead rock-out action! Something that causes that has got to be worth the entry price :-)

  • *Insert witty comment about the number of dislikes*

  • Not gonna lie. I grinned quite a bit when the earthquake happened. Great demo, Burgs. Definitely way out of my budget but a great sounding pedal.

  • Like what I saw when he opened up the pedal!! If I didn't have a Roger Myer Stone I would put this as a must try out in person unit!

  • Expensive but hell it one of the best pedals i have heard. I have been thinking about fuzz for a while now and i may just buy this one. IT is much different than anything else. With my tax returns

  • I agree with the others, 400 bucks for this is just way too much.

  • The face plant was a good fuzz

  • 400$ fuzz pedal? :S

  • Lovely !!!!

  • Sounds awesome, but not $400 awesome. I'd (much) sooner buy an Effectrode Tube Drive.

  • Sounds good - but for that cash you could get a decent backup guitar! or a couple of other pedals and a board to put them on.

  • @TobyBallMusic Until you get bored with whatever generic fuzz, and realize you should have bought this in the first place :)

  • @astro2069 If its right for you fine "buy right or buy twice" as the saying goes. But what's right for me is a versatile indestructible, reliable pedal as I live in Uganda, and the dust here gets everywhere + replacement parts are impossible to source. So i'm happy with my boss fuzz

  • Not cheap

  • Really enjoyed this one Burgs!

    -Andy

  • @ProGuitarShopDemos Andy, you really should team up w/ Burgs and start a new blues-country-punk-metal-kickass rock duo! Do a record!Ah!

  • @frenzexperiment I'd enjoy that too. One day! :)
