  • God's creation is breathtaking, thankyou for posting!!!!!!!!!!!

  • To MissKandu,

Pain, sorrow, grief, e.t.c. are the natural consequences of rebellion against God. When man fell into sin, all of creation suffered as a result, and death is the ultimate result of sin (Rom. 6:23). But the good news is that God sent His only begotten Son into the world, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. In God's great and mysterious design, He does allow suffering into our lives, but He intends it for our good! (Hebrews 12:5-11, Rev. 3:19).

  • Yes, this is beautiful!!! But please let us compare our experiences to what the WORD says. In John 10:10, Jesus says, :The thief(satan, sickness, poverty, death, etc.) comes but to steal, kill, and destroy,,,,,I HAVE COME THAT YOU MIGHT HAVE LIFE.... JESUS wants us to know what HE does and what a thief does. It's hard to believe GOD for protection, healing, etc. when you think HE's the one who allows it. Why did JESUS die for pain, sorrow, grief, etc., when it's GOD's will for us???

  • As a person seeking a benediction from God for a very sore soul, this song truly brought "Peace as a River" to me. This song was written by a man a couple of hundred years ago after losing his wife and children sailing to England and as a true acceptance of what he was suffering captured the very essence of the Savior of this world's sacrifice for all of his children and creatures. I loved it and I felt God's love for me as well.

  • Wonderful Spiritual wilderness journey of enlightenment! Grab your life vest and enjoy the ride. Your soul's in good hands.

Psalm 1:2b-3a;"on his law he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water." Revelation 22:1b-2a;"flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb down the middle of the great street of the city" Proverbs 1:4a-5b;"for giving prudence ...knowledge and discretion...let the wise listen and add to their learning"

Thanks for a great video and song!

  • I want this played at my own funeral, such POWERFUL words, and , family, IT IS WELL WITH MY SOUL! My own life perhaps did not project this, but, inside of the spirit man...................it is well!

  • I did this song at my wife's grandmother funeral two weeks ago. it was hard to do but i did for her grandmother.

  • This is just above and beyond. Nature is unbeliavable,it Amazes me everyday.

  • I think It makes the song even more powerful when you think that the author had just lost his 4 daughters in a shipwreck, shortly after the death of his only son. And Joni Eareckson was a promising athlete dreaming of the olympics who was paralysed neck-down in a swimming accident in her late teens.

  • @arwenae They both knew tragedy and real pain, must have questioned God's purpose in it all, yet were able to speak these words with conviction. They knew the peace of God, and as for purpose- the two of them, in different ways, have touched so many lives for good, and helped so many souls to find the same salvation that they knew, that the number cannot even be guessed. And I am confident that the reward He has laid up for them to come is great indeed.

  • @arwenae Pliz tell me about this song. Who wrote it and what had happened

  • @71366763 Written by Horatio Spafford and composed by Philip Bliss.

Mr Spafford's young son died in a fire which also financially ruined him. Years later his wife and two daughters were crossing the Atlantic the ship they were on sank and his daughters were both killed. His wife sent him a telegram with the two words "saved alone". On his way to meet her he was inspired to write this hymn.

  • One of my favourite songs ever.

  • Simply wonderful.
