my guess is greed, if i was one of the guys up top i would probably want to hog the technology for the US alone, why give anyone else the privilege of traveling around the solar system,.
why would it take a act of god to bring out those technologies like traveling to the stars whats wrong with using those technologies now wouldn't it help us now explore space more better and find out new things whats the big deal??
