I own a hilux and it's 4x4 is just like the car's grip is being produced by god in just the worst conditions... Audi's quattro is 3 times better...
that was some DYNAMIC crap!. they also started using EPS steering suddenly lolz. stop/start and brake energy regeneration is there in other cars too. i thought bmw cared about being sporty. when did they start thinking about Efficiency lolz. turbo charged fuel stratified injection saves fuel.TFSI so does cars made by lighter alluminium based alloy ASF. Bmw's are sporty, not efficently dynamic. thats just marketing.

I don't think the kind of people who buy FWD Audis really care about driving experience. The kind of people who care about driving experience are going to opt for the sporty AWD version anyways.
Still, there's a lot to be admired about BMW's purist approach in which every car drives well, not just the sporty models.
@luminaeus I don't think the Audi buyers care too much about driving experience, disregarding what drivetrain they're buying... The AWD from Audi is surefooted and safe but not entertaining. Audi is not even close to BMW from this point of view.
They might have better plastics and more shiny bits but they can;t hold a candle to BMW's driving experience. I also have a hard time trying to rememebr their last relevant innovation in auto industry...
If going around a corner with the tail out and wheels spinning is important to you, then yeah, BMW is your best bet.
Audi's innovations? Well, their early FWD innovations was used by Volkswagen to create the Golf, which ended up being the third best selling car in the world. But yeah, they seem to be sticking to the tried and true as of late.

@DragunovSVDreaper dude, i don't know who you are, but, clearly, your not talking sense! bmw "talks" alot... before audi was even in the vw plan of making luxury saloons, bmw made the standards. and even today. every single audi is made to beat bmw. bmw engeneering is the audi's, pardon, vw's book, they read it, and made the car that's made from bmw's recipe... ofc it's far from driving pleasure that bmw constantly makes. enjoy your passat ;)

@thestoryteller612 im enjoying my Passat. tho it's made of 2002 it has less problems than my friends bmw 320 of year 2003. standards? now they set low quality standards and only. they should learn how to build their cars from Nissan Renault and maybe Hyundai. They were great ( not so great as Mercedes ) but it's yesterday.. time to evolve and meet tomorrow. here comes Audi.

@thestoryteller612 i know about cars enough and im not crazy poser who's buying brands but not product. i'd prefer some real car which is safe enough, well-built and it's fun to drive. im not wondering why bmw drivers are so slow on snow and crashing to death during the summer time. here, in Lithuania even the new BMW drivers ( i mean new cars ) cause the most road accidents. and it's not only in Lithuania.

@doluss bmw is much nicer to drive then fwd/4wd. who knows to drive rwd will enjoy, who doesn't, traction control, on dry or snow. i agree with the crashing thing. it's dangerous. audi is a good car, i didn't said opposite, but bmw is what audi is chasing. i very dislike you oppinion towards the m divison, which is founder of many things on sports cars. r8 is gallardo with audi sign, that's why i don't like audi. everything they built is actually something else, with audi sing - no soul.

@thestoryteller612 now i understand your position. maybe Audi has no soul like mb or bmw, but i think it's better quality and safer. maybe it lacks some passion of driving but i see it very... practical car. they're trying to take biggest part of the market ( Lexus does the same thing trying to invade other segments with LF-A and etc) anyway maybe they're still second behind the BMW but they're coming closer and closer with every new model. IMO new bmw design... is boring. it remind me of E39.

@thestoryteller612 by the way i loved how bmw looks like until E39 and i loved E60. 7er E65 was always ugly and always be and it has alot of issues. and the way where BMW is going... it's going away from Ultimate Driving Machine. no aggression in a shark-alike design. and that "supercar" EfficientDynamics with 1.5 liter, 3 cylinder diesel engine... i don't know... it's scaring me

@doluss bmw is gone softer, because the world wants more eco frendly and safer cars. still, you can get mad in the bmw, whenever you want to. the ED supercar shows more of the aerodynamics solutions..i also think that supercar should have big engine, and so... but why do you support audis? vw makes them, and they make them like some other cars. take a look at the seat exeo, extacly the same as the audi a4..pathetic.. audi is good family car, and every rs model is there because of bmw m models...

@thestoryteller612 and M models are because of AMG? actually, every other car exists because Mercedes is here. finally, it's the first car ever made and has alot technologies which are copy/paste by other brands from MB. So then MB is the best. But talking about quality i'd prefer Audi or Mb over bmw. im buying things, not brands. why should i pay more money for BMW if Audi has everything that BMW has and it's cheaper and is nicer and it's quality is better? If i want to buy brand - Mercedes ftw

Second automatic transmission is not for BMW , the only great pleasure u can get from mechanic tranny, also BMW engines tend to get overhated, fuel pumps fail frequently, I really do not like the way 5HP19 tranny shifts-thinking of swaping to mech, front window regulators are not working at all, man steering rack problem

abs failure is coom to all BMWs, air condition compresor is of very low quality, seats r very not comfortable at all, the inly thing I like in BMW is engine- this is what ONLY-BMW can make
