every movies that goes past the third series will have a lower ratings, called the box office dollars, and it is not "rated" by a group of so called professional movie watcher. If you look at how much saw 6 pulled in worldwide and compare it to the original saw, it is still pretty much constant

I read that this my be the final one due to the fact that box office numbers have declined big time. Especially since Paranormal Activity blew Saw VI out of the water in box office, though I loved Saw VI. I read that they're going to combine Saw VII and VIII plots into this last movie. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but, according to Patrick Melton - co-writer of the 2nd trilogy - Saw 7 will be the last; however, he has promised that all major outstanding issues will be resolved. Yes, that includes Dr. G.

Apparently, the decision was taken in response to Saw 6's poor performance at the box office.

As for the Dr Gordon stuff, the guy who plays him had a huge arguement with the director and refused to be in any of the other films, by the 4th film they had made up and planned to bring him back.

i think the reason the other doctor was introduced was that gordon wasnt a brain surgeon,she was he had helped him all he could and needed

hi all, im new on here so forgive me if im on the wrong thread, but this is my theory of the overall plot (story) of saw.

basically i think dr gordon is the original jigsaw (some deranged dr on a mission as the first few deaths were drains or waste of medical time)

also some of the victims have small jigsaw pieces sergically cut from the victims, i think these are gordons victims,(or his tag on them so to speak )
