@moshpitmachine Thanks for the comment and I get the criticism you must feel. Bottle feeding does provide great opportunities for Dads to bond over feeding -- a plus. I don't think that bottle feeing is harmful from a health and nutrition standpoint, and there is no shame in it. It's a good option. I believe that there are demonstrated health benefits to BFing, and it is certainly cheaper! That's why we chose that path. But I am no lactivist.
my youngest has been on the bottle since she was born and has also been hitting or exceeding all of her milestones. She has also remained in the top 50th percentile for height and weight and is very healthy as well. Me and my wife chose bottle feeding because i believe that it is a helpful way to form bonds to both parents. As fathers i would like to know your actual position on breast feeding. I have two children one age 2 and the other 6 months and me and my wife decided that it would be better to bottle feed. over the last two years we have seen no negative side effects from this as our oldest is in the top 75 percentile for height and weight and has met or exceeded all of his milestones. We also have not been in the hospital save for one panic moment in the first month that turned out to be nothing.
