  • Catchy as heck and genuine funny to boot!

  • Haha One Of My Best Guy Friends Showed ME This Song :'] I Miss Him XD I Was Blowing Bubbles And I Remembered And Ran Into The House XDD To Do This :DDDDD

  • bubble

    bubble

    Is Zynga here to stay

    or ready to go?

    Let's find out

    with their IPO!

    bubble

    bubble

  • Groupon's IPO will bring this song back into viral joy joy.

  • IPO - Lucky you! Cool.

  • This is a very funny World. Millions of people are starving to death, and some people makes the shit to money.

  • There is an article at Businessweek about this entitled "This Tech Bubble Is Different".

  • The funny thing is that facebook, google and youtube are not even physical things. They are kind of like in the air if you know what I mean...

  • @isauro13 The million dollar data centers say otherwise.

  • @darren Apple's new DC is over the Billion mark I believe.

  • But LinkedIn is going to be AMAZEBALLS!!!

  • Whatever, let the young entrepreneurs suck all capital investment companies dry. What do I care if they have no idea how to value IT companies? It's still a good thing for us, since we (hopefully) do - and know when to get out.

  • @bunsen's #bubblethoughts: If you think there is a bubble, answer me this: How many business verticals (or industries) still stand to be disrupted as of today? bubblethoughts.pen.io

  • well done

  • Money's the bubble.

  • Most big-name VCs don't have the "Midas touch"--instead, it's all about the connections they have. They can use their influence to hype any flavor-of-the-year website into the hottest company in America! Buyer beware!

  • 2011/01 - Goldman Sachs invests in Facebook at $50 billion valuation

2011/02 - Facebook valuation reaches $82 billion on private exchanges

2012 - Facebook raises $100 billion in largest IPO ever; company valued at $1 trillion

2013 - Facebook valuation reaches $240 quadrillion; Mark Zuckerberg, Peter Thiel, etc. cash out, becoming gazillionaires

2014 - Facebook competitor, HeadBiblio, gaining popularity

Don't get suckered (or should I say Zuckered) into this one!

  • HUFFINGPOST 300 MILLION DOLLARS!!!! HAHAHAHAHA a fuckin blog for 300 million...america never learn.

  • made my day

  • @pureperil its double ironic that if you type "how to get rich" in google and press I am feeling lucky you would get to wikihow :)

  • Its gonna burst. A lot of ppl are going to see their ass.

  • "a fraction of a fraction of the pie" LOL

  • The song starts with an unfair quote out of context. Theil was saying there is no bubble in technology, but in markets that use technology. Otherwise, it's a cool parody.

  • @cayblood Theil's fund is down 90% since inception

  • @72gibson What does that have to do with my original claim? Theil's fund could be crap, but his assertion is merely that bubbles in markets shouldn't be blamed on technology itself. We are not playing a zero-sum game. Technology does actually make people wealthier in the sense that it allows them to accomplish more while expended fewer resources. We shouldn't abandon technology altogether merely because we experience temporary instability. That is what I think he's saying.

  • @cayblood Because he was saying to protect his investments, not because there wasn't one. Context? "There's absolutely no bubble in technology". Everyone knows that's not true, and wasn't then.

  • @72gibson I still think he's right. There's no bubble in technology, only in markets. Whether or not his fund managers made smart investments is another matter entirely.

  • the blogging part is hilarious

  • so much had changed since this video came out

  • blog,blog, blog it all!

  • "telephone" without the t?! I should have think of it!

  • I like this! It describes my future life:D lol

  • @xptunes You future investing in technology bubbles?

  • It's a good thing there's more to life than money!

  • @theh4ck you mean like making videos about money?

  • The money, fast money, fast legal money is in technology man. Learn your HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL, APACHE, PYTHON, and other languages. Build something you think that people will go to that is either a competitor or something totally new, or something that is similar to an existing site. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. I loved computers and their functionality. Back in '98 when I graduate, and when Yahoo and Google was new, I wanted to learn everything and every thing about the internet

  • @DarkFuryPunisher But my ignorant, naive, and unmotivated friend, back then, told me that it's pointless to learn CS/CE because Google and Yahoo own the internet/are the internet, and you can't be successful in that field. And from that point on, '98, I listen, as a fool, I listened. An advice, it was my gullible mind that convinced myself to listen to the ignorance of another. So for all you people, don't listen or get rid of negative people in your life. For me, I'm gett'n back into it...

  • Shame on the 78 who thumb-downed this video! - It's stuck in my head

  • yep, feels right :)

  • The bubble burst. 5 years to the next one!

  • great fun. And worringly true too!

  • so true

  • Loved it!

  • Just so evryone's clear, the song is based on a ColegeHumor video.(they rock). I liked this video too. 

  • @mile0chicken Yeah, no it's not, that one is a parody too.

  • @mile0chicken Actually, it's based off Billy Joel's "We Didn't Start the Fire" - which is a pretty good summary of the some of the major events of the Cold War from an American perspective. You should check it out, actually: You could probably make an entire history course based solely on the events in that song

  • very funny, ironic its on youtube though...

  • @pureperil Where's the irony? YouTube has yet to turn a profit as of 2011. It's now Google's headache to deal with monetizing the site, while Chad Hurley et al laughed all the way to the bank. Hurley retired from YouTube at age 33, soon after his options vested, and he no longer has to stress over a business plan.

  • look at my video called paparazzi

  • aloha, i send a friend with $40 to get a burger, he comes back with fries, no chanage, i send him back with the fries, he calls me and said he lost the money.

This sounds like you know who, only they just take the $40, without the four-play.

  • Nice Video

  • Subscribe to my channel...

  • j gvfbtv

  • ghhhgggg

  • Love the video. Wish I saw it two years ago.

  • The amazing thing about all of this is that as soon as Americans wake up, get their heads out of their asses, and hold the blatant criminals in Washington etc.. responsible for how they are ruining out lives, destroying our morality, and driving this country into the proverbial toilet in all ways concerned, then maybe we will have a chance. Then again, people are so concerned with only themselves and know full well if they stand up for what is right someone will 'hit' them hard to stop them!!!

  • lol ur dreaming too big!

See, you ASSUME that the vast majority of Americans are INTELLIGENT with that statement... Knowledge and Intellect are two, VERY different things! Im an American, and I know most Americans are too stupid to know or even care about the fact that the government is corrupt and is trying to take away their rights...

Here we go agian... eh? hahaha

  • @olympicsnow Your last statement explains why there are so many criminals in DC. Nobody cares as long as they get their next truck or boat and can retire. Otherwise it's too much trouble.

  • bravo

  • :) its good

  • WELL DOOONE! And also so sad as it is indicative of our times....bubble, BUBBLE, BURRSST!

"go up to your URL bar, put a Q between the words you and tube and then press enter or click go"

  • LOL.. LOL.. Fantastic! Starts off a bit dull, but its funnier later. Nice work

  • Nice video. I am getting so sick of "tech" - it all seems to be ways of interacting with others but not making real connections - everything is one step removed from reality through some sort of interface. I wish all cellphones would break and see how all these slack-jawed teenagers would act if they actually had to find something constructive to do with their time instead of staring at and pecking on a handheld!!

  • Man I am so glad im not the only one who thinks this!

  • I am a very cool person

    i am attractive also

  • Statement by General SMEDLEY BUTLER

I spent most of my time being a high class muscle-man for Big Business, for Wall Street and for the Bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster for capitalism.

It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a revolution before tomorrow morning.
