dude can i know how to create dynamic web page using servlets..i mean if i have a login page with name and password and a submit button i wana know hw can i authorise a person getting logged in a html website..hope u help me wid a tutorial..
Don't you think connection pooling would be a better option ? because you would have to repeat alot of code when you call the connection from all the other forms? and could you let me know if there is a decent video on jdbc-mysql-connection pooling on youtube ?
@ankithbk29 Well actually you have a point relating to the use of connection pooling in Java, but the objective of this tutorial is to show the basics of the database connection using Java. And relating to the videos about MySQL connection pooling I do not know of any such kinds available on YouTube but I do intend creating one on this topic soon.
@TheYoosuf That would be fantastic mate. I am having a lot of problems with implementing model view controller in swings...its such a pain..hopefully I will get it done soon. And I think your video is great and makes sense because connection pooling might not be required for a standalone application until and unless it has many users..
@StarLight9492 Well actually I think you are referring to the code in netbeans. But I have explained each one separately in the notepad file , and also the Part 2 of this video contains the entire code; in the description. Hope it helps!
