Yeah, Neil Young is no Stephen Stills. Neil Young is one of a kind, still rocking and refusing to compromise. He is the greatest. He could be like a lot of others (Stones,Eagles) and live off the old hits like Cinnamon Girl but he is still putting out brilliant stuff.

@bluesjunky58 yeah, but I think one P-90 is still original?....and all these mods had been done by the time he got it in the late 60s. He did switch out the one mini-humbucker later, only because the one in the guitar when he bought it was at a shop for repairs and the shop went out of business, and the pickup was never seen again.

I'm 58, I grew up with this guy, seen him at the Bridge Concerts several times. Few weeks ago I find out I have cancer--a slow kind, got a few years if I play my cards right. I have been a Neil Young fan forever. I youtubed CGirl and got alot of Matthew Sweet and Susanna Hoffs covers of this awesome song. I kinda politely posted that it is not quite the same and people got bent out of shape.I think there is one version of them covering this on Letterman and I asked why they need 4 guitars and a bass, and some dude said bc it sounds so good, and it does...but certainly not like this.
