Neil and Lemmy are about the only remaining classic rockers who can still play this loud.I saw him on this tour. Aside from some chonga's screaming "fuck yeah!" during the quiet songs, it was the greatest night of my life.
Yeah, Neil Young is no Stephen Stills. Neil Young is one of a kind, still rocking and refusing to compromise. He is the greatest. He could be like a lot of others (Stones,Eagles) and live off the old hits like Cinnamon Girl but he is still putting out brilliant stuff.
@PBANDSNOW The body is the only thing that remains of the original guitar... everything else, including the neck has been replaced. Had anyone else done this, it would have rendered it completely devoid of any value..
@bluesjunky58 yeah, but I think one P-90 is still original?....and all these mods had been done by the time he got it in the late 60s. He did switch out the one mini-humbucker later, only because the one in the guitar when he bought it was at a shop for repairs and the shop went out of business, and the pickup was never seen again.
@ bashofan: keep up the fuck cancer attitude, that's 1/2 ur battle. never give up, cherish every moment, live the way u want too, it's ur life! Be good to urself, hope u win ur battle, think POSITIVE! and listen to lots of good music! :)
I'm 58, I grew up with this guy, seen him at the Bridge Concerts several times. Few weeks ago I find out I have cancer--a slow kind, got a few years if I play my cards right. Seeing Neil lay down the law like this makes me want to live every last fucking second of this wonderful crazy life. Goddess Bless Neil Young! Fuck cancer! Life Is Good! Live It To The Very End!!!!!!!
Kwilliamsmedia is absolutely right, Neil Young rocks harder at 200 than anyone on the air EVER will! Listened to him for 40 years, he is amazing - - in the top 5 MOST UNDERATED guitar players on the planet! I don't agree with his politics (wished he's stay out of that and shut up!), but love it when he rocks out!
Neil's not using a wireless transmitter on his guitar, retro! And he's not playing a Firebird, what else did I notice in this video--- Oh yeah, it ROCKS!!!
I have been a Neil Young fan forever. I youtubed CGirl and got alot of Matthew Sweet and Susanna Hoffs covers of this awesome song. I kinda politely posted that it is not quite the same and people got bent out of shape.I think there is one version of them covering this on Letterman and I asked why they need 4 guitars and a bass, and some dude said bc it sounds so good, and it does...but certainly not like this. Rock on!
Great video of a Rock Icon, but gotta do something with that combover mullet Neil, and the bald spot, but he still kicks ass and will til he dies! Rock on Brother
Well, we can sure say "up yours" to the British press with our music who are hell bent in rubbishing our great country Canada, at every opportunity! Go Neil Go!!!

Whats with the Stephen Stills comparison? Stephen Stills is Stephen Stills. Neil Young is Neil Young. Graham Nash is Graham Nash etc.

I dig this line up. Prolly the closest Neil has come to the Horse. Of course, only the Horse is the Horse.
That said I love Rosas' playing. I wwas about to ask if that was Ralphie drunning but then I also figgered it would be Chad- so says the desctiption.
