haha you make lockpicking 100x harder then it has to be lol...Every 2 days or w/e, go buy the 30 lockpicks the vendor outside Whiterun has...i have 400+ and never break more then 5-6 per lock usually.

If you talk to the victims, you can get a mini quest, each one of them tells you where to find... i think it is 2000 gold. Hope I helped :D

And you need to Charge your Blade Of Woe, and Petty soul gems are perfect for it, since the Blade of Woe is a dagger that constantly needs recharge. Btw the Drak Brotherhood Initiates are one of the few followers in Skyrim that are "unkillable" (on the 360).

Vern, just to let you know, on the Thieves Guild Main Questline, there's a quest that you need to retrieve the "Skeleton Key", basically the Skeleton Key is an Unbreakable lockpick, so I recommend you to not retrieve it, and do other Questline such as the Companions, College of Winterhold, etc.

Go to riften and do the theives guild quest line. U will get the skeleton key and won't have to worry about lockpicks anymore. The skeleton key doesn't break meaning you can open up an door in skyrim easily.
