I have one of these, bought it in Wales brought it home to Ireland, i got it in 2001 it doesn't have tge co2 outside it goes under the barrell you can't see it, the cylinders get stuck in it nightmare to take apart, 30 shots, each one less powerful than the last, bought a springer the other day way better xcept when ya wanna put it under your coat

i have a ratcatcher myself. its an excellent rifle for hunting but the constant reloading is a pain in the arse.

thats why ive opted for the crossman night stalker. its got a lower calibration but the 12 shot revolving clip is worth it

@jjuussttiinn120 Just as a broad statement. The Crosman 2240, 2250, and 2260 all use the same CO2 power plant system platform. The 2240 is the pistol, the 2250 is the carbine/ratcatcher, and the 2260 is the rifle. The only differences are the grips/stocks, breeches, barrel lengths (power) and the size of the reservoir. All of which come standard at .22 but can be used as .177 -- similar FPS ranges from 400-650; in most cases, it all depends on the length of the barrel

£150? gosh yeah tight budget.. This air rifle is almost max power and a 88 gram cartrage really does last a while, people say they leak.. i putsome of that white tape stuff around the thread of it. My logun is max power and this really isnt that far away from it. you could always try one of these .. i would recomend this and you could get one for £150

You can get the normal ratcatcher for about £100 if you shop around, and then stick a decent scope on it, Hawke or something. Plus you can carry 12g C02 cartridges with you whereas an 88g is awkward.
