Met one Indian Army Colonel who had been a young Lieutenant back in 1987 with Gurkha Rifle...this North Indian told me an interesting story about how his platoon of Gurkhas kick LTTE ass during Ops Pawan...some LTTE also got decapitated with Khukri during close quarter combat.

@jerseyy yes one just died third tour of duty I have personally met them when serving in Afghanistan and they are the bravest warriors in the world the Taliban hate coming into contact with them and when talking to them they have such loyalty to the Monarchy and Britain

Hey this video was made by my brother, long time ago(4 or 5 yrs back). He is a graphic expert. When i 1st saw it i was also confused but the last lines clicked me(remembered the lines with the logo). My father wanted him to edit a video bout their campaign (justice for gurkha) He made this extra for them and put it on the dvd too. Thanx guys for all the supports & apriciations.

Gurkhas r truly unique. They are smiling, gentle & merry and they dont look like much w their tiny frames. But when bullets start to fly & yr position is charged on by 1000s of enemies, some kind of switch is flicked on & the Gurkhas turn into fearless, baddest & stubborn sobs who will not yield, surrender nor never give up their position even if men r falling right & left around them. These guys truly do not fear death and r loyal till death. I know coz I went 2 school with Gurkhas.

Wow....you sure are either really stupid or misinformed. A Gurkha is someone from the Gurkha people (They are called something else in their own language). There are Gurkha soldiers in the British, Indian and Malaysian Army. Singapore hires them as part of their police force and the U.S Navy as guards.

I bet there's a lot of Gurkhas out there wanting to kick you ass for saying that they're not a Gurkha just because they're not part of the British Armed Forces.

@LuciusCorneliusMacro 90-95%of the people serving the British Gurkha Amy presently are not real gurkhas just so u know they are kirats like gurkhas fought for the british kirats fought for the gurkhas after the gurkha empire could not capture kirat lands so we joined into Nepal well had a treaty but later was mysteriously destroyed pun intended :p Its a long history u see.....

@Frostiscrazy wrong about 85% of gurkhas are from Nepal, 10% come from the descendants of gurkhas who have settled in Britain, the other 5% come from hong kong, singapore and tibet.

but as for real gurkhas i think 80% of them are from gurkha district

@Frostiscrazy ohh you fool your thinking about the indian army gurkhas, yes the indians mainly recuit from kirat district, there are quite a few limbu's in the british army but the majority are gurungs (i know ate least 20 gurungs) but your right some of the gurkhas are not true gurkhas,
