  • According the the latest "Adventist Review" SDA magazine, membership in the US has DROPPED from 4 million (the number they gave us in church in the early 90s) to 1.3 million.

    That say alot.

  • @jamesadrian021957 Yep, Adventists are flawed human beings as well lol, thank you for taking the time to look us up though. It's flattering, but you know flattery is the work of the devil.. :)

  • Scholarly opinion, as well as modern Jewish and Christian commentaries, hold that the little horn refers to Antiochus Epiphanes, since he came from the Seleucid empire, which was one of the four empires that came to power after Alexander died. He seized the Seleucid Kingdom through intrigue, took away the daily sacrifice (the Tamid) in 167 BC, and committed the Abomination of Desolation. He made it illegal to follow the Judaic laws, with the penalty of death.

    Source: Wikipedia on Daniel 8

  • Christians live under the NEW COVENANT, not the old. The NEW testament is the Gospel as the old testament was done away with, made obsolete with the death of one of the principals to the old convenant (contract). Jesus made a NEW contract with man; hence, the NEW TESTAMENT.

You want to live like OT Jews, go ahead.

  • @jamesadrian021957 There is no difference between the new and the old covenant, we are still asked to obey our King. The OT Jews lived by faith and are saved by Grace just as we, because of the blood of the Lamb, which is Jesus. There is no difference between the two. You are thinking about the sacrificial system, that is now done away with, because of Jesus who gave the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. The Jews were saved because of that sacrifice, not because of their sacrifice of animals.

  • @Mekelsior Deut 5:2 -3 (NIV) 2The LORD our God made a covenant with us at Horeb. 3It was not with our fathers that the LORD made this covenant, but with us, with all of us who are alive here today."

It also was NOT for the Gentiles! God didn't accept them until 34AD and Jesus did NOTHING to preach to them the law of Moses nor let them worship God in the temple BECAUSE of the law of Moses. The law of Moses, including the 10, were ABOLISHED and God wrote His law upon their hearts.

  • @jamesadrian021957 What law was it that God wrote in "their" hearts? Did he write it in Aleister Crowley's heart? Or is he in Heaven cause he believed? What do you think about that scenario? All these satanist, and atheist out here... Are they going to Heaven since there is no more ten commandments? Did Jesus come to Earth and get crucified that we may be free from obligation to God? God requires obedience... What are we obeying?

  • @Mekelsior If there is no difference between the old and new covenants, why not just a continuation of the old? When someone refinances their home loan and have a new contract with new terms, do the old terms still apply? NO. Otherwise, there's no point in refinancing the house, just keep doing as under the first contract.

  • @jamesadrian021957 The New Covenant was made with the House of Israel, and the tenants was... " I will write my Law on their hearts" so the Law, is the new covenant. Why did Jesus have to die if the Law is gone? Sin is the transgression of the law, and if you preach anomia.. then why are you not concerned about mt 5:17 to 19 and mt 7:21 and on wards?

  • @Mekelsior NO!!! The new covenant was made AFTER the Crucifixion; specifically 34AD when God REJECTED AND ABANDONED the Jews and gave the gospel to the Gentiles who are the ones who became Christians. The Gentiles were NEVER told to sacrifice animals, keep the commandments, get circumcised. They were instructed in how to live godly lives without the written code (whether written by the finger of God or Moses, it was still written) which was done away with.

  • @jamesadrian021957 So no Jews will be in Heaven? What are the 12 gates in Heaven??

  • @Mekelsior Sorry for responding on the wrong comment, but I can't find your comment to me. Im gonna leave you with this: You are wrong, and i hope you get over it

  • @jamesadrian021957 The new covenant is that our salvation is in Him, do as He did and would do. Jesus was obedient to His Father. "Not my will, but Thou will be done".

  • @estherpasi Jesus wore tassels on a robe with a blue cord.

Jesus paid tax to the temple and supported temple worship

Jesus went to a Jewish synagogue on Sabbath and read from the Torah in Hebrew.

Jesus spoke out against the Jewish Leaders.

Jesus limited his study to the Torah.

Jesus kept all 12 sabbaths including eating the Passover lamb.

    Jesus did not baptize anyone.

Jesus did not own a home, did not marry, was not employed, had no income, stayed in other peoples homes, rode a donkey

  • @estherpasi Below is what Jesus did; go live EXACTLY as He lived since you think that's what we should do. And when you're labeled a weirdo, slacker, sponge, crazy, out of place, don't blame me. It was YOUR idea.

As for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.

  • @jamesadrian021957 Be realistic... BTW.... Were not supposed to fit in, in this world. People thought Noah was all those things you had jus mentioned people would think of me... Weird, crazy, and out of place. Was he? How do you serve the Lord? Proclaiming your belief on youtube is lip service

  • So if the sabbath stands now because it was an eternal, everlasting covenant, then so does circumcision.

Gen 17:13 - 14 (NIV) 13Whether born in your household or bought with your money, they must be circumcised. My covenant in your flesh is to be an everlasting covenant. 14Any uncircumcised male, who has not been circumcised in the flesh, will be cut off from his people; he has broken my covenant.”

  • @jamesadrian021957 You make the same argument that Paul was speaking against to the Galatians. Circumcision is a sign of dedication, it has no merit other than obedience. Now, if you may not be aware of, Israel was not circumcised during their entire walk in the wilderness. But they were not cut off. As for Antiochus being the anti christ, well.. if you want to believe in Jesuit teachings then go ahead, for me.. it does not fit with the Bible and what is clearly taught there. :)

  • @Mekelsior And Paul said in Galatians 1: " 8But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed."

The SDA church and EGW teach "another gospel" since you have a problem with me agreeing with Paul.

  • The Father and Jesus works on Sabbath.

John 5:16 - 17 (NIV) 16So, because Jesus was doing these things on the Sabbath, the Jews persecuted him. 17Jesus said to them, “My Father is always at his work to this very day, and I, too, am working.”

  • @jamesadrian021957 What is your point here? Of course God does not rest from being God on the Sabbath, He made the Sabbath for our benefit, because we need to rest from the labors of the week. To spend time with Christ in a very special way that no other day have. God was the one that blessed the day, and what He bless is blessed forever. God have never cursed the 7th day and have never changed it. Anyway, you need to study the Spiritual side of the Sabbath too. It is a commandment of Love. :)

  • @Mekelsior God does NOT rest on the Sabbath!! Can't you understand that?? Jesus worked on the Sabbath!!! God and Jesus do NOT keep the Sabbath!!!!

  • Acts 15:5 (NIV) 5Then some of the believers who belonged to the party of the Pharisees stood up and said, “The Gentiles must be circumcised and required to obey the law of Moses.”

  • Acts 15:10 - 11 (NIV) 10Now then, why do you try to test God by putting on the necks of the disciples a yoke that neither we nor our fathers have been able to bear? 11No! We believe it is through the grace of our Lord Jesus that we are saved, just as they are.”

  • Acts 15:19 - 20 (NIV) 19“It is my judgment, therefore, that we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God. 20Instead we should write to them, telling them to abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals and from blood."

  • The Apostles opposed the Judaizers that were trying to impose the law on Gentiles.

The issue was keeping the law of Moses. Notice that the sabbath was not included in the discussion. In the Jewish mind a gentile must first be circumcised before he could keep the sabbath. This would have been an excellent time to tell the gentiles to keep the Ten as do SDAs.

  • @jamesadrian021957 What make you think they did not keep the Sabbath in the NT? When Paul says he kept the Sabbath for example? :) Why do you preach against the Law of God.. I do not understand the Christians who believe the law is done away with. Then just rip out the Old Testament and go with the NT.. oh wait.. if you rip out the old then you have no reason to have the new one. Why are you a Christian a follower of the King of heaven if you do not want to keep His Word?

  • @Mekelsior It is never recorded that Paul or the Apostles preached Sabbath keeping to Jews or Gentiles. Notice Acts 17:2, Paul did not go to the synagogue to keep the Sabbath or to worship. Worship was done at the Temple, not the synagogues. The synagogues were used to teach the Torah. Not once in the book of Acts is the Sabbath a point of discussion. Gentiles were coming into the church by the thousands and were not taught to keep the Sabbath Command or penalties for breaking the Sabbath.

  • @Mekelsior Gentiles were NOT part of the Old Covenant, which INCLUDES the 10 commandments.

  • @Mekelsior The Sabbath, along with the 10 commandments were for the Jews. God said so Himself in Deut 5:6 and the Sabbath was also for the Jews (verse 15)

"I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage."

15 "And remember that thou wast a servant in the land of Egypt, and that the LORD thy God brought thee out thence through a mighty hand and by a stretched out arm: therefore the LORD thy God commanded thee to keep the sabbath day."

  • @Mekelsior Gentiles were NEVER literally lead from Egypt with an outstretched hand as the Jews were. Paul gave FOUR commads for the Gentiles, none of them pertained to the Sabbath.

  • @jamesadrian021957 Gentiles=non believers, Jews= believers. Egyptians are gentiles. The man (thief) hanging on the cross with Jesus was a gentile until he witnessed Jesus on calvary, he then was a believer and was promised eternal life.

  • @estherpasi You're really messed up if you believe that!! The gospel was given TO THE GENTLES after the stoning of Stephen. WE are Gentiles! The heathen are the unbelievers.

  • @jamesadrian021957 What's the difference between you and the heathen?

  • @Mekelsior There is NO Bibilcal record of Sabbath observance until Exodus/Duet. Only the ONE time God rested on the seventh day of Earth's existence is mentioned. Furthermore, the 10 commandments did NOT exist before Sinai. Adam and Eve couldn't commit adultery since it was just the two of them; they couldn't honor their earthly parents since they had none.

  • @jamesadrian021957 The seventh day was the norm..... Went without saying since God established the day from the beginning. There was no question on which day to go to church until after Jesus died. You think maybe the devil found a way to work through people to cause confusion?

  • @estherpasi The was the norm FOR HE JEWS!!!! Not for the non-Jews; they were NOT under the 10 commandments. People living in other parts of the world who had no knowledge of the Jews (ancient China, India, Japan,, for example) were NOT swayed by, nor mentioned, I might add, by the Old Testament teachings.

Second, circumcision was the norm for the Jews too, but Paul said circumcision meant NOTHING, so if one "eternal covenant" means nothing, so does the other.

  • @jamesadrian021957 SMH... God's law means nothing?? Are you crazy?! So youre saying because the Jews crucified Jesus, God made void of His law?? IGNORANCE!! smh We shall see in the end :)

  • @Eskimos11105 Hopefully, they forgot alot of what SDAs teach, as I am trying to do as an ex-SDA.

  • @jamesadrian021957 I became an Adventist even before I knew what Adventism was, the doctrines are sound and easy to defend from the Bible. There is a reason why no one wants to debate an Adventist theologian openly.

  • @Mekelsior You always join groups without knowing what they are? I at least heard what they had to say before I joined.

  • Comment removed

  • that saying-the true church- always gets me- it a guodeline to why I left the catholic church at 10yrs old- in search of truth at any cost

  • this is a lie take these subject to the SEVENTH DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH and get the rest of the truth about these subjects

  • @Nuffination I was SDA and left because the church leaders could NOT answer the questions about EGW's 1856 statement, about why Daniel 9 and Daniel 8 cannot be shown to have overlapping timelines, about Paul's statement that the Holy Spirit is the one who seals us and not the Sabbath, etc.

  • @jamesadrian021957 The Holy Spirit seals us, the Sabbath is God's seal of His authority, the Sabbath is the mark of His authority and claim on His people here on earth. Both are connected, just opposite side of the same coin. :)

  • @Mekelsior Wrong.

Ephesians 4:30 "And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption."

The Sabbath does NOT seal anyone for the day of redemption.

Furthermore, only JEWS are sealed according to Revelation since it mentions tribes of Israel, which EXCLUDES Gentiles such as you and me. Do you really want to hold to your false doctrine now?

  • the bible you will be known by your works.

  • im adventist.. but i feel the problem here is, in order to discredit the adventist church, you need to discredit EGW. the real question is.. can u be adventist without EGW?... adventists like egw for her guidliness she gave.. but she was a pioneer of the religion but adventists dont need egw because they put Jesus over her. btw. in 1844 Many religions believed the second coming was near because of the prophecies in Daniel; not just adventists.

  • @Gods0n1 Consider the SDA 18 statement of faith and check your baptismal vowels. EGW's writing are specifically numerated at a source of truth. If you cannot agree with the statement of faith or the baptismal vowels...then you cannot be a SDA.

  • @cu2983 the end of 18 statement says " They also make clear that the Bible is the standard by which all teaching and experience must be tested." show me what religion u are and i can point out flaws too. ( wikipedia ) the 28 Fundamentals are descriptors not prescriptors; that is, that they describe the official position of the church but are not a criterion for membership....Im a seventh day adventist and i dont even care about elen white.. SDA means worship on saturday, nothing more.

  • @Gods0n1 Oh, yes they are! Just try being a church worker after you let the SDA church know you do NOT believe Ellen White to be the authorative source of truth. MANY SDAs have lost their jobs after questioning her writings, Walter Rea, Desmond Ford, and others.

  • @jamesadrian021957 Official statement of the Church, the Bible and the BIble alone is the authority of which we believe, every statement that we do profess comes from the Bible. We also believe that sister White is more than a prophet and that her works are inspired. They are however the lesser light and the Bible is the greater light. You say you have been an Adventist and does not know this?

  • @Mekelsior Do you need a flashlight to find the sun?????

  • @cu2983

Baptismal vowels? You mean a,e,i,o,u and sometimes y?

  • @cu2983 It is now the 28 FUNDAMENTAL BELIEFS, not just 18.

  • @Gods0n1 She STOLE her writings from other authors! It is well known that she plagerized. The problem with that is she said that GOD told her these things. She is a liar and according to Rev 22:15 will be cast into the lake of fire as such.

  • @jamesadrian021957 if your saying ellen white commited plagurism then yes. she did... a few hundred yers ago, plagurism was a common practice. what im trying to figure out is where does it say you HAVE to follow elen white to be an adventist? the fundimental beliefs dont say it. do they? im adventist and i dont read ellen whites writings.

  • @Gods0n1 You missed the point. She said GOD TOLD HER WHAT TO WRITE!!!! She said this information came from God. It didn't. It came from OTHER AUTHORS, NOT GOD!!!

That means she's a fraud, a false prophet.

  • @jamesadrian021957 Sister White made no attempt to say that all her words comes from God, that would mean.. "How are you feeling today beloved husband" would be a quote from God, that would simply be silly. I'm sad to see that you have missed the point with her writings and have not understood how inspiration works.

  • @Mekelsior "In these letters which I write, in the testimonies I bear, I am presenting to you that which the Lord has presented to me. I do not write one article in the paper expressing merely my own ideas. They are what God has opened before me in vision--the precious rays of light shining from the throne." Testimonies for the Church Vol. 5 (1882-1889),

  • @jamesadrian021957 And what letters would that be? Every single word that she said? Seriously? I do not believe that is even remotely logical. :) I believe her writings are inspired, but they are not dictated, her life was also inspired, and the life of the Christian will become more and more in tune with God, so that He does not have to reveal anything to us, but we would know what God thinks of a certain matter, because we are so close with Him. Study inspiration my friend.. :)

  • @Mekelsior Read, you idiot! She herself TELLS which letters in the quote above!!!

  • @jamesadrian021957 Testimonies for the church are wonderful books... If you are reading with the right spirit, it would point you to look at yourself and what is wrong with you. Ellen's books in no way demotes God, Jesus, or His divinity in any way. You would only find wrong, if you are looking for it. As did the pharisees with Jesus when He was on Earth. Did Jesus do anything wrong? But yet they found many things to accuse Him of...smh.

  • @Gods0n1 It is a test of fellowship. Many SDA pastors and workers have been purged from the church once they (the pastors and workers) denounce EGW as a prophet/messenger. Walter Rea, Desmond Ford, Wallace Slattery, et al were the first; there are still today those being disfellowshipped and/or fired for this reason.

  • @jamesadrian021957 if u could prove that people were fired from sda for denouncing her, that would be proof of fanaticism on the employers part.... this video and every comment is meant to discredit the church and ellen white... ive already made two statements to nulify both.. 1. you dont need elen white to be an sda. 2. if ellen white was wrong then so were MANY denominations..yet she still put Jesus and the bible as the authority to test what she said.

  • @Gods0n1 She said in 1856 that her guardian angel told her there were people at the meeting she was in who would be ALIVE when Jesus returned. They would have to be at least 155 years old!!! Jesus said in Matt 24 that the angels do NOT know the day or hour. Why, then would an angel from Heaven tell her this? Because the angel was NOT from Heaven, but was a demon clothed as an angel of light.

  • @jamesadrian021957 actually alot of ppl thought Jesus was coming back, not just adventists.. they got this idea because of the prophecies in daniel... big deal, even the followers of Christ were not perfect people and got stuff wrong.. in the 28 fundemental beliefs, the very argument you are using to discredit adventism it even says right there on 18 that everything is to be tested with scripture. so i dont see what your trying to get at. WHAT exactly does Adventists teach?

  • Comment removed

  • @Gods0n1 People thought Jesus was coming May 21, 2011, too, but it didn't happen. I know a man locally who closed his business thinking it was "the end". He was embarrassed to have to call his customers and tell how wrong he was, ESPECIALLY when they tried to warn him of the false prophecy.

EGW stated an ANGEL FROM GOD told her Jesus would return during the lifetime of some alive in 1856. Angels DON'T know the date!! NO condition was implied or given. It was a LIE.

  • @Gods0n1 Lastly, the SDA church teaches that you MUST accept Ellen White in order to be a member of the church and/or hold church office. It's in their 28 fundamental beliefs. Read it for yourself.

  • @jamesadrian021957 18. The Gift of Prophecy:

This gift is an identifying mark of the remnant church and was manifested in the ministry of Ellen. G. White . As the Lord's messenger, her writings are a continuing and authoritative source of truth which provide for the church comfort, guidance, instruction, and correction. They also make clear that the Bible is the standard by which all teaching and experience must be tested.

were does it say you MUST follow ellen white?

  • @Gods0n1 You said it right there. She is an AUTHORATIVE SOURCE, not the Bible! SDAs promote her writings as being ABOVE the Bible and makes her the POPE of the SDA church!

Since she's so authorative, why didn't Jesus come in her lifetime or the lifetime of one of the people at the 1856 meeting as she said would happen? It's because she was WRONG! There was NO CONDITION given by the angel in that message.

  • @jamesadrian021957 You're reaching too far bro. God knew what He was doing... Search yourself... Don't be so quicc to look everywhere else, usually we ourselves are the problem.

  • @Gods0n1 Yep, and that's exactly what her writings do for me.

  • @jamesadrian021957 Now this is a bold face lie, smh... i should know, I am an Adventist.

  • @estherpasi What is? That she never said this? Want the location in her writings where she said it?

Life Sketches of James White and Ellen G White (1880) page 321

Spiritual Gifts, Vol 2, page 208

Spiritual Gifts, Vol 4b, page 18

    Last Day Events, page 36

Ellen White, The Early Years Vol 1 (1827-1862), page 339

  • @jamesadrian021957 She never said what? Sorry...These youtube commenting stuff confuses me.

  • @estherpasi The 28 FB statement makes it clear EGW is the "final authority" on Scripture, Whenever there's a disagreement or question on a text, they refer to her writings for the answer, not God. So, if you disagree with EGW, you disagree with her being the final authority.

If she isn't the final authority, why the fuss over her plagerism? Why not just admit she copied from others rather than saw these messages in vision or heard them from an angel?

  • @jamesadrian021957 28 facebook statements?? I do not read EGW books when studying the Bible, so IDK what you are talking about. i think EGW books are inspirational and help me through hard times in my life that does not pertain to the church at all though, jus my individual issues with life situations. I used to question her visions, but everything she said is unfolding before me, and that is confirmation of my belief and where it is. All books I read are about God and his Holiness and love

  • @estherpasi Why don't you read those "inspirational words" from their ORIGINAL authors? She coped from: W E Foy, Daniel Marsh, Dr L B Cole (Wonderfully Made), Horace Mann, Herman Melville (Paradise Lost, Moby Dick), John Harris, Fannie Bolton (the REAL author of "Steps to Christ"), among others.

  • @jamesadrian021957 The argument of plagerism is moot. Everyone did it at the time, there have even been an official responds to the argument and even lawyers have looked at it. The problem is, people don't understand sister White, they focus on a small things but miss the message. Her message is, go back to the Bible, study it, learn of God and who He is. No false prophet encourage people to study the Bible :)

  • @Mekelsior Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, says the LORD, who steal my words from one another. Behold, I am against the prophets, says the LORD, who use their tongues and say, 'Says the LORD.' Behold, I am against those who prophesy lying dreams, says the LORD, and who tell them and lead my people astray by their lies and their recklessness, when I did not send them or charge them; so they do not profit this people at all, says the LORD.

    Jeremiah 23:30-32 RSV

  • @Mekelsior Ellen White said Jerusalem would never be built up, Jesus would come in the lifetime of those at a 1856 conference, England would declare war on the Union during the Civil War; all of these and other prophecies of hers failed.

"If what a prophet proclaims in the name of the LORD does not take place or come true, that is a message the LORD has not spoken. That prophet has spoken presumptuously. Do not be afraid of him." Deut 18:22

  • @Gods0n1 Take away Ellen White, and you can't teach a Sabbath School lesson. You cannot support SDA doctrine without her because SDAs are so inept in their knowledge of the Bible because they rely on Ellen White, not the Bible, for their comfort, guidance, instruction, and correction.

  • @jamesadrian021957 Again brother, this statement is not true. In many churches, sister White is not even used and is often ignored, sadly because what she is saying is profound. It is also always supported by the Bible. You just need to dig deep and see the big picture. :)

  • @Mekelsior Every Sabbath School lesson is HEAVILY reliant on Ellen White's writings. They can't teach ONE lesson WITHOUT her.

  • @jamesadrian021957 WRONG... i don't know what SDA church you be goin too, but youre way off

  • @estherpasi Attended SDA churches in the following cities during a 40 year run: Madison, TN; Mesquite, TX; Dallas, TX; Keene, TX (was student at SAC); Collegedale, TN; Biloxi, MS; Casper, WY; Homestead, FL; Murfreesboro, TN; Hopkinsville, KY; Clarksville, TN

ALL of them used PREPARED SS Quarterlys, each crammed full of EGW statements to support the lesson with little Scripture to back up the same lesson. Each page had 1 text at top, a paragraph of commentary, and then half a page of EGW.

  • @Gods0n1 Ellen White FOUNDED the SDA church. To remove her is to have the church fall down like a house of cards.

  • @jamesadrian021957 She did not found the church my friend. :)

  • @Mekelsior You need to brush up on your church history.

  • @Mekelsior Red Books: Our Search for Ellen White is a play about White, a co-founder of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, and the various perceptions of her throughout the history of the church. It was produced by the Dramatic Arts Society of Pacific Union College in California. It was based on interviews collected from over 200 individuals. The title derives from White's books, which were traditionally bound with a red cover.

The other co-founder was her husband.

  • @jamesadrian021957 In my experience Ellen White's writing help me understand the Bible in connection to my life in this day and age. She is not the founder/originator of my faith in God. I'll tell you what though... Her writings only uplift God, emphasizes on His Holiness and Divinity, what do you guys have against that?

  • @estherpasi She contradicts the Bible in many of her writings. Furthermore she contradicts herself over time. She made statements of position only to change position later and claimed BOTH were messages from God. You're left not knowing what to believe from her.

She said Adam and Eve were separated when Eve ate from the tree. Genesis 3 clearly states Adam "WAS WITH HER" at the tree. Who's right - EGW or th Bible? Only happened one way. There are other examples of this in her writings.

  • @jamesadrian021957 It's funny cause people say the same thing about the Bible because they do not understand it, so label it contradicting. Adam was with her, in the Garden of Eve. Jesus told the thief that he promised him that day, that he would be in the Kingdom of Heaven. Was the thief in the Kingdom that day? If you read Ellen's writing in the right mind frame, you would understand better than you do right now.

  • @estherpasi EGW statement, Great Controversy, page 347 "The kingdom of grace was instituted immediately after the fall of man, when a plan was devised for the redemption of the guilty race."

    The Bible:

"He [Christ] was chosen before the creation of the world, but was revealed in these last times for your sake." (1 Peter 1:20)

Again, another EGW lie. That's what I have against her; she's a liar. How can she uplift the Bible when she contradicts it?? Want more?

  • @estherpasi "Satan, who is the father of lies, deceived Adam in a similar way, telling him that he need not obey God, that he would not die if he transgressed the law" (Evangelism, p. 598).

"1 Tim 2:14 (NIV) "And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner."

  • @estherpasi "Through an angel messenger the divine warning was conveyed: 'If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted?'" (Patriarchs and Prophets, p. 74).

BIBLE: Gen 4:6 - 7, (NIV) "Then the LORD said to Cain, “Why are you angry? Why is your face downcast? If you do what is right, will you not be accepted? But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must master it.”

It was NOT an angel talking to Cain; it was God Himself.

  • @estherpasi "All the lessons which God has caused to be placed on record in His word are for our warning and instruction. They are given to save us from deception. Their neglect will result in ruin to ourselves. Whatever contradicts God's word, we may be sure proceeds from Satan. Patriarchs and Prophets, page 55, paragraph 2.

Her words proceed from Satan based on HER OWN WORDS!!!! See postings below.

  • @jamesadrian021957 I know several SDA churches who do not even give her recognition at all and still exist. Now what were you saying? Furthermore if you really know God and have a relationship with Him, you would know by now that no matter who your faith is founded on if not God our Father... It will COLLAPSE. That is how much God loves us... Enough to break us the He may work in us. He is looking for empty vessels.

  • To use the tares as a reason to discredit the church and to use their own faulty life experiences and some studies out of context with regard to the great dissapointment which is biblical but they dont say are all reasons they used to discredit .All non adventists and adventists that are distraught will use all EW out of context to discredit the truth. The church hung Jesus on the cross and Jesus moving into the Holy place is correct. You believe your interpretations the way you do .. God bless

  • @oneofakind6313 You cannot support the SDA doctriine from the Bible. Even William Miller admitted he was WRONG. Ellen White couldn't bring herself to admit she was wrong as well.

  • @jamesadrian021957 So you can't support the fact that the 7th day in the Bible is the Sabbath of the Lord your God? :)

  • I believe you guys need to study more and to really go into the details here, I suggest watching some presentations on the sanctuary by Walter J. Veith. I know you mean well and all, but the truth is there, Christ entered Hagion, when He went to heaven, study the sanctuary, the show bread table had horns on it, it is a symbol of the throne of God, His throne has wheels, it can move, and in Daniel 7 we see that it moves. Then once a year there was the day of atonement, a symbol of judgment day.

  • @Mekelsior MY SIS I PRAY YOU LISTEN AND CHANGE CHURCH

  • @classiq876 I`m a brother, and so far I have not seen anything wrong with theology or presentation of Christ. :) Follow the truth always for He will set you free. :)

  • @Mekelsior You honestly believe Christ is the archangel Michael, a CREATED being?

  • @Mekelsior sorry had on the caps lock.

  • @Mekelsior How can there be any holier place in Heaven other than the thorne of GOD at which Jesus sits at the right side?

There IS no sactuary in Heaven.

  • @jamesadrian021957 Because the Throne of God is IN the sanctuary? Paul says there is a heavenly Sanctuary, as the earthly was a shadow of the heavenly, and I'm inclined to believe him rather than you brother. :)

  • @Mekelsior And Jesus was and is sitting AT HIS RIGHT SIDE!!! Jesus has been in "the most holy place" since his ASCENSION!!! Long before 1844, wouldn't you say?

  • Friends and brothers, the Bible is clear about the nature of Jesus and that He was an example for us, He could sin if He wanted to, but He was born with the connection with the Father. We are saved by Grace and not by works. As for the Biblical prophecy, day for a year is a well founded principal. They would not give up the idea that the prophecy was right because it was right, just the event was wrong. :) It is either that or the Jesuits are right in their interpretation.

  • @Mekelsior Since Jesus was God, He could NOT sin because He would have to go against His own nature!! Think about that. Anything He did was okay with Him, so He could NEVER sin.

  • @jamesadrian021957 Of course Jesus could sin if He decided to. Otherwise, how was He tempted just as we are? Think about that? :)

  • @Mekelsior Nope. Since God can't sin, He can do anything without justification. He impregnated another man's wife which for you or me would be a sin, but not for Him. God doesn't have to explain Himself or His actions to anyone.

  • @Mekelsior If He decided to do anything, it wouldn't be a sin. He decided to flood the earth and kill everyone, even INNOCENT children and dumb animals. Furthermore, God CREATES evil!

“I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.” Isaiah 45:7

  • @jamesadrian021957 He took on our sinful nature... He was human when He came out of Mary, you know?? You really don't know anything, do you?? God gave himself as a sacrifice for us because He cannot change. The Ten Commandments is His character. If God could change, Jesus sacrifice would not have been necessary. He would simply change His character to fit ours. You know how stupid that sounds?? Such stupid people to flatter themselves that Jesus died that we may be free from obedience SMH...

  • @Mekelsior Then WHY do SDAs take the 1000 years in Rev 20 as LITERAL time when it has symbolic rhetoric: the "chain of ciircumstance" being the chains he's bound with, the "bottonless pit" being a depopulated Earth. Seems it should be for 360,000 literal years that "the saints abide in Heaven between the second and THIRD coming"

  • John 14:12 reads: "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father"

John 14:21 reads: " He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him"

  • @silyvana John15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.14 Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you.

  • @classiq876 In an earlier thread: JESUS' ANSWER TO THE QUESTION HIS DISCIPLES BASICALLY SAID LOVE THE LORD WITH ALL YOUR HEART AND LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR LIKE YOURSELF.. WHAT ARE THE FIRST 4 COMMANDMENTS TELLING US TO DO? WHAT ABOUT THE LAST 6?(1-4= love God..5-10= love ur neighbor) ALL JESUS DID WAS SUMMED THEM ALL UP IN 2..... THE LAW WAS USED TO LEAD "US" TO CHRIST.... FINDING CHRIST DIDNT MEAN THE LAW IS DONE, WHEN U LOVE CHRIST, YOU WILL WANT TO KEEP HIS COMMANDMENTS...

  • @silyvana If i love my neighbor would i lie, kill or the next four, comm. to them? NO, if i love God would I not do what he ask me to do? YES, now the sabbath was pointing to jesus, any one that accept jesus is keeping the fourth comm. so everyday is a sabbath once you accept jesus, its good to rest one day out the week and worship God, but that dont have to be the seven day. monday could be your rest day tuesday watever, ill upload a video with all info.

  • @classiq876 And the way I was treated in SDA school even BEFORE I became SDA was proof I should never have joined nor stayed 40 years. The SDA youth were so hateful and cruel. I was treated much better in public school than among these "Christians".

So much for SDAs keeping God's commandment(s).

  • @silyvana So why do you wear clothes made of cotton/poly blend when He commanded in the OT not to have clothing woven of two different materials? Why do you let your boss hold your wages overnight which is also against His command. Why aren't the other 613 commands given in the OT obeyed as are the 10 commadments, especially when some of the 10 are mentioned with the others? How do you decide which of His commands to obey and which ones were abolished?

  • @jamesadrian021957 Those that pointed towards Christ were abolished, the Sabbath was not. As for many of the other commandments, yeah there is much to be discussed, and there are many that discusses, the Church have however not made it into into a mandatory issue. :) I believe that God will lead us all into more and more light, who knows maybe we will in the future get to the point where we will consider cotton and polyester. :)

  • Col 2:16 - Col 2:17 (NIV) 16Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. 17These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.

  • @Mekelsior They ALL were abolished, including the Sabbath. The Sabbath was a day of rest for the OT Jews (there is NO record of the Jews requiring others to keep it except for those living amongst them). The Jews had NO gospel to share. Now, Christ is the rest for Christians; He is our Sabbath now, not some day.

  • and although salvation is a gift, and we are not saved by works, once we are moved by the Love of Jesus Christ and the Word of God we will want to follow His Law and automatically do the works out of love! Read John 14:12-21

  • @silyvana That doesn't mean our salvation depends ON works. We will NEVER be perfect, so the SDAs need to give up on this idea that Jesus is waiting for "sinless perfection" before He will return. We will NEVER be perfect; glorified, but not perfect. Only God is perfect.

  • I'm not sure if we are ever going to fully understand what is in the Bible. Prophecy is specially tricky to understand, but I do believe there are some clear truths in the Bible that cannot be misunderstood, for example the Commandments. I am truly convinced and moved by the Holy Spirit and I believe that the observance of the Sabbath along with all other commandments are plain clear truths that we as Christians should all follow.

  • @silyvana Prophecy isn't that hard. How hard was it for Noah to tell them the world was going to be destroyed? How hard was it for Jesus to show the disciples all the prophecies concerning Himself? How hard would it be for someone from the future to tell you what will happen tomorrow? In essence, a prophet is from the future since the event he is describing has already happened from his point of view and cannot be changed.

  • going back to the point i made earlier that not one church has it 100%; after all we are human, sinners and we are bound to make mistakes along the way. Because I know this, and even though I know that my fellow brothers and sisters are going to make mistakes, even against me at times, I am not going to turn my back on many of the good teachings. I think many times people are hurt by others in the church and this is what causes them to leave the church.

  • The Bible is the word of God and it is the Book that I always go to first! I think people have a hard time with Seventh Day Adventism because it teaches some hard truths and really calls people to try and be as good as possible almost to the point where you think it's impossible at times, but I think although we may never be righteous and good we are called to strive to be and this can only be done with the help of Jesus. or at least this is what I feel everytime I read God's word.

  • as an SDA, I have not been taught "believers work for salvation", as an SDA I have been taught that salvation is a gift just as other christians have been taught.

No church I think has it 100% right. Let's say Ellen G. White is not a true prophet, her teachings I think are still good - they can help you to lead a better life, just like the Bible.

  • @silyvana No, but you've been told that Jesus is waiting for US, haven't you? You've been told that we MUST STOP SINNING before Jesus will return, haven't you? You've been told we will have to live a perfect life without an intercessor BEFORE Jesus will return, haven't you?

We will never reach that point, so if that's what Jesus is waiting on, He might as well forget coming back.

  • @gracious90

daniel 8:14 declares that the sanctuary will be cleansed of something. What do you believe the sanctuary will be cleansed of after that time period?

  • In response to this video, to the man that was talking in this video. You said "Romans 5:24"...but when i had checked my bible, In chapter 5 of Romans it only goes up to verse 21. Then you said "truely truely i say to you, he who believes has eternal life and shall not enter into judgement". But where is this verse? It's not there in the book of Romans because it's in John 5:24.

  • @Chan6697 HE MIS SPEAK GET OVER IT

  • Dan 8:14 And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.

This video is pure darkness, if you are saying that SDA's are wrong, then please be a good Bible student and prove them wrong. Can you please explain Dan 8:14 with scripture.

God bless and guide you :)

  • @gracious90 Start by answering the question in Daniel 8:13. THAT is what 8:14 refers to.

  • I started to listen this video and checking the places in bible like Romans 8:1 and Romans 5:24 its not in the bible cause Romans 5 ends at 21 vers. that tells me you didn't read the bible you can't take one vers out the chapter and make a religion out of it.

  • SDA - another SATANIC Church seeking Souls whom they may devour with their False Doctrines.

  • Your knowledge of the SDA church is completely wrong and you don't know anything about it

  • @abigailjanet And that's why there's YouTube to tell him/her what the issues are.

  • SDA is a movement as opposed to religion. The reason why I as a SDA member believe SDA has a special message is because we as erred (sinful) humans cannot comprehend God;s perfection, hence Christ had to show us it is attainable. Be ye perfect, as your Father in Heaven is perfect . Matt. 5:48. We are not superior, we are peculiar. BTW... We are all gentiles (non-jews). Including SDA

  • David Koresh was a former Seventh Day Adventist but he became a Texas gun toting psychopath.

  • my wife's family is long time SDA affliates and when ever we have gathering with them, they would always say that there church is the only true church and that all other churches is false..and whenever i would talk about something of the bible, they would tell me that its all false, because what they learning is the truth and so on...here is the difference between true christianty and religion! the ressurection...

  • 1 John 3:8-10 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.

  • 1 John 3:3-7 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as He is pure. 4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law. 5 And ye know that He was manifested to take away our sins; and in Him is no sin. 6 Whosoever abideth in Him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen Him, neither known Him. 7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as He is righteous.

  • Luke 6:46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

Matthew 7:21-23 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?' 23 And then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.'

  • Whether people like it or not, the 7th day Sabbath is the Lord's day & is a commandment in God's law & it is the mark of God the Saviour to His people, declaring Him alone as our Creator & Redeemer.

The 7th day commandment is transgressed the most & this is why SDA uphold it so vehemently. To not keep God's commandments by faith is sin & transgression of the law is sin, Romans 14:23, 1John 3:4 & James 4:17 therefore if you love God repent & come back into harmony with His Word!

  • A clear example of the investigative judgement of God is back in Eden when Adam & Eve had sinned Genesis 3. God asked them questions as to INVESTIGATE what had happened. God already knew the reasons why they sinned but God being fair & just allowed them to speak & plead their case, even though they played the blame game, & then there was a JUDGEMENT given by God for all concerned.

There are many more such examples in scripture.

  • Hebrews 10:29-30 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace? 30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

  • Hebrews 10:26-28 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins, 27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries. 28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
