Just got the game today. Its halo CE engine and everything for campaign, and you can choose to overlap the graphics to look all detailed. There is a button on the menu to bring you to reach multiplayer. Atm only the annaversery maps are playable for some reason.

I am good at CoD, gears, and I was great at Halo 2 and 3. Reach, i didnt play for more than a month. I played H3 for almost 4 consecutive years and would still be playing it if I could play a match without derankers. Reach is garbage, and NO trolls, I dont suck at it. I can hop on an drop 40 kills in any given MLG variant game on there, its no fun and a waste of my time.

@DannyThePandabrother All the reach maps and remakes were bigger than before to compensate for the DMR and everything going long range/ being able to sprint. It wasn't a good remake true to the game.

All this is is the Halo 1 campaign and a new set of maps for Reach in multiplayer. I'm not upset about hemorrhage as much as the fact that anniversary doesn't have Halo 1's multiplayer, then they decide to cut certain maps because they don't "fit the gameplay" That gameplay shouldn't even be in the game.

Am I the only one that is dissatisfied with the partial Blood Gulch remake in Reach? I was REALLY hoping to get a true remake (graphics only) of Blood Gulch in Halo Anniversary. I have great memories of playing on Blood Gulch with the Halo PC demo. Even after I purchased the game and got all of the other maps, Blood Gulch was still my favorite by far. I'm rather disappointed to hear it will not be remade. Perhaps it will be released in a map pack. Fingers crossed!

343 spent a lot of time and resources creating Halo Ce via Xbox Live for 2 people, using the Halo 1 engine, but yet, could not muster up any more time or resources to develop Halo 1 muliplayer for Xbox Live? (fyi i love halo pc ). the shining gem abaut halo was the multiplayer. iv played better campains but halo is still the best online. so they better have all the origenal online maps included ( in ther origenal configuration). and i wont forgive or buy any future title from 343 if they replace the halo engine with the the reach engine online. jet packs speed and armor modes dont belong in halo. so 343 DONT F THIS ONE UP!
@TheStuartCarson Actually the last question was made to LOOK stupid. In reality he is entirely correct, there is no multi player for this game, just some maps for Reach. Just cause you can launch it from the game disc doesn't make it authentic Halo 1 Multiplayer over Live, although it is a huge insult to anybody who bought the original on launch day.
Whatever,im over it .....I just picked up Halo for PC, hooked up my controller to usb and now I can play OG HALO MULTIPLAYER whenever I want! it's pretty sweet I highly recommend this to anyone who feels ripped off and misses real HALO CE

Why couldn't they have used the Halo 1 Engine for multiplayer? And if they really must've used another game engine, why not use the Halo 3 Engine? Halo 3 plays more like Halo 1 than Halo: Reach. Halo 3 is fully capable of supporting the multiplayer for Halo Anniversary. Plus, Halo 3 didn't have any stupid armor abilities, fall damage, 10 second kill barriers, bloom, and many other problems with Halo: reach. The Halo 3 campaign was also a tribute to Halo 1 and was close to being a remake.

I am good at CoD, gears, and I was great at Halo 2 and 3. Reach, i didnt play for more than a month. I played H3 for almost 4 consecutive years and would still be playing it if I could play a match without derankers. Reach is garbage, and NO trolls, I dont suck at it. I can hop on an drop 40 kills in any given MLG variant game on there, its no fun and a waste of my time.

@DannyThePandabrother Dont get me wrong, I like Halo Reach, it was new and imaginative, I enjoy it. But when I'm told a remake of Halo 1 is being made, I expect it to be an actual remake. All this is is the Halo 1 campaign and a new set of maps for Reach in multiplayer. I'm not upset about hemorrhage as much as the fact that anniversary doesn't have Halo 1's multiplayer, then they decide to cut certain maps because they don't "fit the gameplay" That gameplay shouldn't even be in the game.

Am I the only one that is dissatisfied with the partial Blood Gulch remake in Reach? I was REALLY hoping to get a true remake (graphics only) of Blood Gulch in Halo Anniversary. I have great memories of playing on Blood Gulch with the Halo PC demo. Even after I purchased the game and got all of the other maps, Blood Gulch was still my favorite by far. I'm rather disappointed to hear it will not be remade. Perhaps it will be released in a map pack. Fingers crossed!

343 spent a lot of time and resources creating Halo Ce via Xbox Live for 2 people, using the Halo 1 engine, but yet, could not muster up any more time or resources to develop Halo 1 muliplayer for Xbox Live? I used to play on a competitive halo 2 team way back when. I have never bought a 360 as a form of self control. Haha I need all the help I can get to talk to women... Having an xbox wouldn't help.
Anywho. I heard they were coming out with this game... And it almost... Just almost made me want to go out and buy an xbox. Imagine playing hang em high with the pistols online! Sure maybe modernized a little bit. But seeing this... I will not be purchasing the game or xbox. :(

Just cause you can launch it from the game disc doesn't make it authentic Halo 1 Multiplayer over Live, although it is a huge insult to anybody who bought the original on launch day.

Why couldn't they have used the Halo 1 Engine for multiplayer? And if they really must've used another game engine, why not use the Halo 3 Engine? Halo 3 plays more like Halo 1 than Halo: Reach. Halo 3 is fully capable of supporting the multiplayer for Halo Anniversary. Plus, Halo 3 didn't have any stupid armor abilities, fall damage, 10 second kill barriers, bloom, and many other problems with Halo: reach. The Halo 3 campaign was also a tribute to Halo 1 and was close to being a remake.
