That bugle/trumpet player is amazing!! He held that note for like 10 full measures! This is awesome! How do I go see something like this? Anybody know?
@aschoon01 They play at places like Disney pretty often... go to their website, tour dates and locations are probably up. Not to be anal about the technical stuff, but Ben Harloff (the initial soloist) is actually playing a flugelhorn, using circular breathing to hold the note. One of the best living players in the world!
@aschoon01 It's called circular breathing. Watch his cheeks. He build an air backup in his mouth to sustain the note while he quickly sniffs another breath to keep going.
