The way I see it is....it's not that I'm not good enough or pretty enough or blahblah. But that.....the person I like may not be the person I need. I want him but he may can't give me what I need and eventually....if we were to hook up...it would just bring me down and I would end up losing myself anyway. That's what happened with my first love. But I eventually learned to stop hating him and realize all the life lessons I got out of it.
