One question though---why would anyone want a shade tree mechanic working on their cars when MOM AND POP SHOP will do it for 10.00 to put a bowl of soup on the table? The treeshade mechanic is right here pal, Coporate America has spit on the small business and turned them into the SHADE TREE Mechanic. Only Corparate America can get Loans, and Credit Cards, And Bank Draws, and Lines of Credit. Small Business Man aint shit anymore.

I have been running an electronic repair shop for over 30 years and you hit nail on the head... All I can say is fool me once sham on you, fool me twice shame on me... I don't do credit anymore and it's a shame because I have tell likely good people no, because of the bad ones... I would thousands richer if I could collect on all the I will pay next week A-Holes that never fricking show back up to pay.. I have even had some that had the nerve to come back again wanting more credit !!!

very true Pete,last year i was workin with a buddies step-dad for a few months,he worked out of his own garage replacing transmissions,heads gaskets,he even back-halfed a real nice s-10 drag truck.i always wondered why he would give the prices/estimates he gave.an it dawned on me because we had to,no-body would come for repairs if we only beat a shops price by 100 bucks on a 500 dollar job.long story short we would each make a hundred bucks on a trans swap.....im sure you know better than i do..

@MrJsowa Knowing very much how people WANT IT FREE, then abuse it when they get it! Walk in Home Depot and tell them you'll give them 3 dollars for a 5 dollar item! See what they say.. Even when you intentionally give something to some one for free---THEY DON"T RESPECT IT---There is plenty of examples right here on youtube.. just look around hard enough-you'll see um.

Well Pete, we have to work like slaves because we are being sold out by big business for the exact money they can make from outsourcing to China and India. The thing people don't understand is that you may get cheap products at Walmart but the price of those cheap products is the loss of american jobs and our standard of living. Did you know Walmart forces companies to move to China? They give us a cheap lollypop and fuck us up the ass and we are happy.
