i think the player of those sneaking missions is a professional,vr missions are maked to help our sneaking and shooting skills,but its much harder to play when your sneaking, i played the vr missions about 22 times the whole game.I had always the recocord 1st place in every mission,thats why i did manage to complete mgs game on extreme and get the best rank you know what it is.Now i willanswer a question in mgs3 the best way to sneak up behind a guard use spirit camo beat the sorow

This is a really stupid question, but is there a way to wlak slowly so that they can't hear you a-la-mgs3. I'm playing this on hard and i can never sneak up on them because they here me

@ndjohnsrud I don't think so, however in this game they can only hear you when you walk through a puddle or on loud material like iron and stuff and your best bet is to just crawl rather than run, or find a path that doesn't force you to walk over the terrain.

The timing on that tactic is tricky though. It's like you have to stay just outside of thier cone of vision and wait until the guards are just about to turn around the corner to face you.

I'm having a hard time mastering that little "knock on the wall, then grab the guard before he makes the corner" trick you keep doing throughout the vid, especially at 4:02.

any tips I should keep in mind?

The one in 4:02 took a fair amount of tries before I got it right actually. I'm afraid that I can't really be too much of a help other than that I remember pressing the button before actually feeling that I was close enough to grab him and just kinda semi-teleport-throw them.
