Dear oh dear... whats going on the with pitch/key at the start?? Awful performance from Sarah "world record holder for staring contest " Brightman. Colm Wilkinson makes me gag, His voice is disgusting, his Bflat in Music of the night was just awful, obviously John and Anthony were "phantastic", but Peter Joback was just terrible, some say he is Like M.C but I couldn't agree less, obviously feel free to comment back, its just an opinion but apart from JOJ and Anthony, the other 2let the side down

Such a shame that the video runs out where it does. It doesn't show Ramin taking Michal Crawford's hand as he sings "You alone can make our songs take flight". The emotion on Michael's face leave me with goosebumps every time i see it.

The First: Amazing, like the phantom should sound

Second: My least fave out of the four, but still awesome!

Third: I like how his voice is different! awesome!

Fourth: My fave.... He sounded like an actual oprea singer, with a big full voice....

Also, I think Sarah is THE Christine because her soprano in that role was absolutely exquisite........I didn't think she was all that good here, for whatever reason. Her voice was deeper, more operatic than I expected. As to the other Phantoms, they were all very good and had beautiful voices, but IMO, MC rules and it's not even close.

As for Peter Joback, I felt for him because he just wasn't very good - I've heard people make the comparison to MC before and I can't buy it. There is no comparison. MC has an incredible voice, so emotional that I often cry listening to him. I'm sure with hard work Peter Joback can and will improve, but he's not MC nor will he be.

I bought the DVD of this just so I could watch the Finale whenever I wanted to - for Michael's appearance. He recently said that he didn't sing because the pressure was too great - probably because people would have expected him to sing as he always has and he's relatively out of practice using that voice. He intends to take singing classes after Wizard ends, so hopefully we'll see him in concert singing POTO songs.

@iKissYourSoul I agree...I like him very much though his name is Peter Jöback from Sweden. He has played Chris in Miss Saigon in London as well as the leading man in the witches of eastwick. He is a very good singer but completely different from the power houses of JOJ Anthony Earlier and Ramon.

Poor Sarah, what has happened to her beautiful voice! She still has the high notes but her vibrato is so prounounced she sounds like an elderley woman. She should quit now so we can remember her as the brilliant soprano she once was. I dont think the new guy has anywhere near the quality of voice of the others. Colm is doing brilliantly for a man well into his sixties, but Anthony and JOJ definitely steal the show

I agree that Peter Jöback has a different kind of voice than most other Phantoms, but hopefully it will end upp something new rather than a lesser copy. He is a great performer, singer and actor. He has some West End experience from playing Chris in Miss Saigon and is the original Michael in "Eastwick" . He also played Robert in Kristina från Duvemåla by Björn and Benny from ABBA. He is well known by the producers of POTO. I just hope it will work out well for him.

no, they wasn't. They are from the original studio recording from 86. If you want to hear how they would have sounded like if they was real check out Sarah's phantom preformance from Vienna -08.

Love Anthony Warlow, JOJ, and Colm Wilkinson. But I am not at all a fan of that fourth guy. He's not the worst singer I've ever heard, but his voice is just not suited for the Phantom. Not in my opinion anyway. Thanks for the upload!

@eleenb perhaps it was the live stream and ive already sped it up it is exactly 2.5% slower than it should be which doesnt seem like much but when its that much slower it brings the key down. it wasn't sang this slowly in the concert because if you see other recordings of it live it is normal
