  • By Far, One of the Sickest arcade games of ALL TIME!!!! "Played this at Malibu arcade in Redwood city in the 80's!"

  • Man I miss this game! I remember playing it at Aladdin's Castle arcade! Really wish MAME supported this game (not that the ROMS/Video files are floating around)...wish they would re-release stuff like this on PS3/Xbox360, image what this game would look like remastered in HD and being able to use motion controllers on it!

  • There's Tetsuro. I don't see Maetel or Harlock anywhere.

  • How the heck did you beat the last level? I could get to the guardian, blow his lights out but always wrecked the train during the getaway.

  • @Babbette999

There were three colors of lights and three colors of tunnels. All three colors of lights had to be shot out to kill the guardian. The order of the colors that the lights were shot out is the order of tunnel path colors that must be chosen to get out of the tunnels.

  • Escape from CyberCity...but a different version1?!?!

  • the only thing I remember about this game was the "cockroach" line, I googled it find out what it's name was. I used to play this at Aladdin's Castle, Windsor Park Mall, San Antonio, Tex!

  • god I loved this game as a kid. and i love the ending.

shoot the lips off a cock roach kid!

  • @rockevan Still say that cockroach line to this day.

  • where can I get this song? please help identify this cheesy song for us

  • Lol

  • Please! I need to see cutscenes!

  • Holy cow! I used to play this game in Texas at some racetrack arcade with my dad like 20 years ago. I can't believe that it's on youtube. My friends never believed me that I played a cartoon game like dragon's lair. Now I have proof.

  • I forgot to mention both Escape from Cyber-City and Freedom Fighter are based on the Japanese anime , Galaxy Express 999. Also, there was a sequel to Escape from Cyber City, RETURN TO CYBER-CITY. fitting I know :) Unfortunately it never saw the light of day. Hopefully it will someday get leaked. Who knows?

  • They made a "port" of this game for the Philip's CD-i called Escape from Cyber-City. As I remember it was very tough to control with the thumbstick, but after many weeks of frustration I completed it. Back in 2000 I discovered it was based on this LaserDisk game and have been waiting for the Daphne emulator to support this. Some day I will get to play this :)
