It is absolutely heartbreaking for me. CCxLelouch through-and-through, and I can't see any reason why it should be or could be any other way. I wouldn't want it.
But I do want the creator to "close" the open ending. This evidence says Lelouch is dead, this evidence over here says he's immortal...I'm torn between pessimism and optimism, and in the center of everything...these two starcrossed lovers.
I was all about kallen and Lelouch, and then I thought about it watching this video and realized, Kallen is like the hot girl you go for because you just love to look at her, but C2 is the one that is with you late at night helping you everystep of the way.
There is no third season for Code Geass it's just a spin off based somewhere half way around the world when it was at the middle of the war between the japans and the britiannians.

@crusaderx69 or they could do it like they did for Kuroshitsuji 2: Make it seem like others are the main characters and deny the main chars of the first season appearing, then actually have them be part of the main cast. Cuz you know, that would be pretty awesome.....

People also say he is alive because at the end CC is talking as if she is talking to Lelouch. CC was able to talk with Lelouch's mom before and it was implied she died when Lelouch was a child. Also people say the wagon driver at the end is Lelouch because he kind of chuckles when CC is done talking.
@Kendjin I said something about this on another video. Sure the creators said he is dead but probably to end the hopes of another season involving Lelouch... IF there will ever be another season which I doubt. Hopefully what im saying makes sense o.o I could be wrong, No point arguing with creators and such but I am sure thats why they said he was dead. @xenonzx He actually does not have 2 geasses, he only has one. In the show they explain that the more you use the geass the stronger it becomes to the point you cannot control it. That is what happens, IE when he accidentally commands the princess. I do however agree that he is not dead, the reason C.C. came to him was to take her immortality away so he would have to suffer that curse. I believe he accepted the full power of the geass ( the immortality) when he asked suzaku to kill him.
@WoWRoX1 He does have two actually. You and alot of others are getting two scenes confused. In season 1 when he tries explaining to euphi how he would use her, yes he loses control of his geass.
Around the time however he is talking face to face with is father, That is when he gets his second geass and that scene is in season 2 (R2). You can find the scene on youtube.

Both eyes gained geass from gaining his second geass. When his geass went out of control in season one, his eyes stayed the same. his other eye gets geass in that scene I mentioned earlier.

There are simply too many hints to be dismissed as mere coincidence, and admit it: if you had created this series, killing him and bringing him back would cause an uproar.

i hadd to cry when Nunnally sat there adn cried about lalouchs death but at the very end with c.c on the wagon i laughed my head off feeling sad for Nunnally and the other people that truelly supported Lelouch until the very end.
I've just spent 10 hours watching this anime from ep 1 to ep 50, and finally a female character that is not annoying like in other animes, actually, I can't believe C.C. is my favorite character of all animes I've seen :o !
Finally discovered that the scene at 3:04 (when she's crying in the cockpit) happens at the very end of episode 25 R1. The reason why many were not able to find it was because that part was only shown in the Japanese version. Unfortunately they never dubbed this. However, they did sub it for the dvds.

I've just spent 10 hours watching this anime from ep 1 to ep 50, and finally a female character that is not annoying like in other animes, actually, I can't believe C.C. is my favorite character of all animes I've seen :o !

Finally discovered that the scene at 3:04 (when she's crying in the cockpit) happens at the very end of episode 25 R1. The reason why many were not able to find it was because that part was only shown in the Japanese version. Unfortunately they never dubbed this. However, they did sub it for the dvds.
