not how you did it but what it the technical term for moving the glint over a the question itself not the entire frame? in other words just so that only the question and straps are glinted over not the entire frame?

@leimeisei909 cool, and I assuming too during the part of the movie where you used double dip when you faded out the orange strap that was also masking and involved a linear gradient? I'm trying to do the same execpt I'm only going to outline the outer strap rather than filling in the inner portion, something similar to marksgskweeb's double dip excerpt example...

Second of all, can you at least name your source for the soundtrack? That way you're not redistributing the soundtrack without the rights or anything, just naming the source.

@DaltonL227 Thanks for the kind words :) as far as my source, I can't say. Sorry. Nowadays though, if you look hard enough, the soundtrack package is common enough to where you could probably find it sitting around somewhere.

Just a little information: there actually is a legal way of getting the soundtrack. I bought the Ludia/Encore game based on US millionaire from amazon.com last week and what did I find? All the clock music in *.ogg-format within the installation folder (even though some of them aren't used ingame)...

@wangsacl masking. PowerPoint doesn't support it (to my knowledge). You need to use Flash or something else.

@Jazzoulphrodisiac I wrote the base code for the original millionaire game I made when I was 12 years old as a result to going to the "Play it" attraction at the then-"MGM Studios" park in WDW. When I was 17 (about a year and a half ago) I decided to pull the code out again and work on it and improve it just to further my knowledge of game logic and gameplay progression. It was a learning project, basically.

@boogyman10o1: How to use what? My millionaire app? I thought you only had my graphics? You have to animate them in some way, but I don't think I included the glint graphic or the timer lights in that graphics package.

yes the app(flash) and the glint is very hard to make

but i mean where the question like the glow (2 lens flairs on the side) part on the question thing (question no timer and no timer 2)

Great Job. I'm working on it to update my PC game. I'm not sure if i'll flip the questions and answers down when the answer is correct. Did you do it in Flash CS3 or CS4? I suppose i could design in flash but i only have CS3 and it doesn't seem to have 3d built in. With directx, it's possible. You and BL have done great work.

I did this in CS3. I wanted really badly to get the 3D effects in, so I began to rewrite the engine in CS4 but I haven't gotten very far simply because of time constraints and because I cannot for the life of me figure out how to do the completely different motion tweening in CS4. Also, I do not know all the features of ActionScript 3.0 because it is a ton different than 2.0 and you must use 3.0 to get 3D effects. But thanks for the compliments :)

Yep. Just used Adobe Fireworks. It took me forever to get the curves right with the pen tool though.

Regardless of who I got it from, BL5965 was not the origin of these sounds. There is someone out there with inside contacts. You just have to know how to do some very clever Google searching to find the person. I won't reveal much more than that.

I host my own version of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire live on Justin TV a few times but I'm stuck using the gameboy version on an emulator lol.

Yep :-D. Actually I think I only wrote one of these questions. I have about 30 $1 Million questions which I took from the Millionaire board game (which I no longer have as it was destroyed by water damage), and the rest I just found in random places.
